Too bad its only on consoles… our LAN group has had a great time with CoD2, and still play it regularly. A new one would have been nice.
Yeah, I don’t quite get the lack of a PC version of this game. They’re still getting long legs out of the first two games on PC racks, including a new War Chest edition for $50 with both games and the expansion in one box.
The only thing I can think of is that Treyarch wasn’t equipped to do a PC version since they did CoD2: Big Red One (which is superb BTW) for the Xbox/PS2 only.
I’m almost positive that is exactly why.
It’s kind of a bad excuse though. Treyarch seem pretty capable. I don’t know why Activision would want to leave that PC gamer dough on the table. I don’t think you’re going to see those people buying 360’s to play Call of Duty 3.
