Interesting to see Isaiah Bradley in the trailer. That storyline was the best part of Falcon & The Winter Soldier.
I just saw this and thought it was one of the better trailers for an MCU flick in a while. Actually made me want to see this. But February? That doesn’t bode well. Unless, its a switcharoo and it’s actually a rom-com. Then Feb 14 is perfect.
Question because I don’t remember, did Falcon take super serum to become the new Captain America?
No. He just worked harder.
Wow Red Hulk!
Agreed. And they toned down the humour to mesh with theme a bit better. Going back to serious is a good move to set it apart.
And yeah, Feb would seem odd but likely placing it as an alternative against the rom-coms released for V-day.
WTF with videos not playing anymore? Is that just me or has the site changed?
I swear something just changed on QT3. I watched that vid in-thread 30 minutes ago. Now it won’t play - in fact I can’t even click on it to go external to YT. Plus my font has changed!
I don’t think it’s supposed to be a spy thing like Winter Soldier, but that trailer sure made me think Winter Soldier. Which is a good thing since it’s one of the strongest MCU films.
Is Bucky in this? I don’t think so but I thought Sam/Bucky always played well off of each other.
EDIT: I had found the video on YT directly before seeing it here and I just checked and it’s there so it’s something on this Qt3, I guess.
Yeah something just happened to break the video.
Also wonder if the Feb release with Brave New World is a not-so-subtle political statement with the US elections and all.
I think Disney is out of the political statements game.
Video just played for me so whatever was glitching seems to have unglitched.
93% of the trailer I was like “Oh, more MCU. I will dutifully attend and hopefully find some joy.” Then the last two seconds hit and I was like “AW YEAH!”
Giancarlo Esposito!
Wow. That was amazing. Disney can’t fuck this up, right?
Had to clear my cache to get VT videos to work again. Hail to the Qt3 support thread.
I guess it depends on ‘make a quality movie’ or ‘make a huge profit’ is your metric for not fucking it up
