Chrome sync issue

Question: when I make changes to my bookmarks in Chrome on computer A and then open Chrome on computer B, those changes show up. However, when I make changes in the bookmarks on computer B, they do not show up when I open Chrome on computer A.

I can’t find any place where I set things on the sync in Chrome to tell it one computer is “dominant” or to keep everything synched, etc. What do I need to do to ensure any changes made on the bookmarks show up on either computer?

Most of the time I find I need to “kick” the sync. Add a new random bookmark. If that doesn’t cause the bookmarks to update, delete the bookmark you just added. One of those two should cause the sync to update the bookmarks.
