I mean, this is secondhand info, but apparently any student that did not participate and attempted to continue to do coursework during autumn 2020 BLM protests were heavily bullied, ostricized, called racists; along with professors that continued to attempt to hold (remote) classes.
While absolutely not on the same scale or practical impact as Trumpmania, it is absolutely an example of attempting to crush internal dissent.
