Did Beto leave early?

I get the impression that everyone on stage knows they’re running against Warren. I like it.
-Tom
Yang is looking strong.
Go Warren, that’s what I’ve always wanted to hear someone articulate. You don’t get to be a billionaire by not using workers and infrastructure paid for by all of us.
I agree Yang has impressed me more tonight.
Booker makes his case to be everyone’s go-to VP pick.
Oh, good, Gabbard on Syria. This should be fun.
-Tom
You can tell Liz is the front-runner now. They’ve gone after her. And she’s fought back pretty well.
Sweet, she uses the Syria question to bristle about being called a stooge for Russia. A hit dog will holler.
-Tom
Wait, did I hear that right? Did Kamala just say “Dude gotta go”?
-Tom
She said that thing, yes.
Sassy Harris is the best Harris. Also, Joe yelling at Gabbard’s “regime change war” comments is the best Joe.
-Tom
Oh there’s a debate tonight on a shitty network I never watch. What time did this start?
Lol I forgot Klobuchar existed.
Yang is wearing a lapel pin that says “MATH.”
It’s a rephrasing of Obama’s “you didn’t build that” bit.
I don’t think Pete was being entirely unfair to Warren. Okay, don’t accept the Fox New framing of the questions, and granted the “one word answer/yes or no” type questions should die in a fire, but why is it so hard to say “your taxes will go up but your overall expenses will go down,” as Bernie does? There’s probably some logic/research behind the idea that you don’t want to surrender even a tiny soundbite/clip that will be objectionable to some voters, but I think sometimes there’s a tug-of-war between that and the appearance of candor.
We’re an hour and a half in. I should maybe go watch Batwoman instead.
-Tom
Wasn’t it Warren’s original you didn’t build that during the Obama presidency?
Oh, did he crib from her in the first place? Could be, I don’t know.
