I like the 4-3 against Alabama more. With Florida’s Dunlap sitting out for DUI, they went to 3-3-5 probably thinking it would be their best athletes, but they couldn’t get pressure or stop the run because of the bigger guys up front.
I think 6th Street in downtown Austin just had a collective heart attack.

With all my “issues” with Alabama, I have tremendous respect for McClain, his talent and his intelligence. I hope he has a long and successful career.

It is really the ___ gargling fans with which I have a problem.
Not a bad game, but we need McCoy to come out to make it interesting at all. Texas has a few open receivers and a dropped TD pass, but can’t really drive the field.

Well, Colt would have made some of those passes that Gilbert cannot and the turnovers would have been much less likely. I am just pissed the game is pretty much over at halftime. Now I have a couple hours to kill.
I think I need to start drinking heavily.
We SEC fans need to remember that the higher Alabama fans go, the harder they will fall at some point in the future.

It would not have made a difference. The Bama defense is too good, and Texas defense isn’t good enough. With McCoy this game might be 17-13 Bama right now instead of 24-6, but by the fourth quarter Texas would be wishing they were back in Austin, McCoy or not.

How many people, other than parents, sit back and say, “Man, that is one good halftime band number”. I mean, no disrespect to any of you who played in the band, but I don’t get it.
(Look, this is all we have to talk about now).
I was looking forward to this game, even though I felt Alabama would win it. Now, with McCoy knocked out of the game on the first series, finishing the game is merely a formality. Alabama’s already won, which is too bad, because I despise Saban for the way he shafted the Dolphins.
