Safety! Woo! Die, OSU!
It’s German for The OSU. The.

Ahh yeah, good old tressellball.
Awful playcalling, and an awful call from the refs.

Win or lose, it’s another pants shitting second half OSU big game performance.
Holy crap, they blocked the punt!
Oooooooooooh, but it’s intercepted…

Jesus. I’m going to have a drink and go to bed. I hate college football.

Well that was a helluva game. Pick up the blocked punt and run it in…sheesh!
Falling on a blocked punt instead of scooping it up to win a BCS game…priceless.
To be fair, that’s what they teach kids from an early age (to fall on the fumbled ball rather than trying to kip up and run with it). We shouldn’t have been in that position though; we didn’t catch the fucking football, and we didn’t make the stops we needed to on defense.
Fair play (actually, eat a bag of dicks you assholes that can get away with whatever you want to; you wouldn’t have been in this game without them) to them.
Yeah I know, they teach you that…sometimes you just gotta realize what’s going on though. :)
And I just sat through the highlights on ESPN…80% of the highlights involving five guys that had no business playing in this game.

I just love the fact that SEC/Arky fans will be what-iffing the end of that game for months and whining about the “ought’ve been ineligible” players.
SEC fans have no right to be complaining about ineligible players playing.
The transgressions of SEC schools/players in the past/present/helleventhefuture have zip (0, nothing) to do with the question of Pryor & Co.'s eligibility.
Who here thinks they’re coming back next year? I don’t.
They ought to have been ineligible, but it would be stupid to what-if a win against a depleted OSU team. Beating them would prove nothing for Arkansas.

Hehehe nice joke.
I do like him and wonder if he’d made better decisions for the defense and didn’t have alums/Det News after his hide from Day 1 if things would have turned out differently.
And man, I can’t stand the Big 10 logo, Delaney, the divisions, the names of the divisions the money grabs. Sickening what they’ve done to college football. All that beautiful tradition flushed down the toilet over the past 15 years.
As for Jim Harbough - do you think coaching in the NFL is a lot easier than college football? It seems like the time investment and stress would be way lower since you don’t have to recruit at 10,000 high schools and your prospects in the NFL don’t have 120 places to transfer to, nor leave early for the money league.

They are relevant to this game, because it means the playing field was even. Just because one of those teams got caught doesn’t mean anything. :)
Coaching in the NFL is a ton more work than college.
Spurrier thought he could go the Skins and keep his golf game, and he flamed out spectacularly.
Guys like Gruden slept at the office. You put in 100+ hours a week as an NFL coach during the season.

We don’t whine about games like this, we just laugh at dweebs like you and enjoy winning silly BCS titles year after year. After year. After year.
Congrats OSU, you beat an SEC team (sort of) and don’t have to deal with that stigma any more. I still think of Arkansas a SWC school, but I’m old and cranky.
Can’t wait for Auburn/Oregon, I still can’t decide who I think will win.
For the record I am not an SEC fan, or a Big 10 fan. I still think those guys had no business playing in the Sugar Bowl. But they did, who cares now right?
I’m a soulless Iowa Hawkeye fan which means I am afraid of non-conference games, trained to hate Ohio State, Michigan and completely used to not seeing my guys in a real bowl game.
(Last year, Iowa winning the Orange Bowl was a hell of a treat.)
Actually this year, after going on a sudden losing slide and still beating 10-2 Mizzou in the what was it? Insight? And being one of three out of 8 Big 10 bowl teams to win their game was still good enough for me.
The fact that is good enough for me ought to tell you how low our expectations here in Iowa are. The last couple of years have been fun, actually seeing our guys on ESPN and such. Wild guess…next year they’ll have a losing record again. It’s cool, I’m used to it.
In essence I hate the Big 10 excepting Iowa, I could give a rat’s arse about other conferences. I do watch them, though.
I expect Oregon will walk all over Auburn and piss on Cam’s trophy at the end. Just a prediction that will only be half true.
I think it’s weird you keep using the phrase “they have no business playing in that game.” You’re confusing authoritarian NCAA nonsense with doing something morally wrong.
It’d be better to say it’s not fair to other kids who received worse punishment recently. That puts the onus back on the NCAA’s nearly random double standards and hypocrisy.
