Oregon’s secondary, which is pretty good, is just playing horribly.

I’ve not seen them play before, so i can’t comment on earlier games, but tonight they are just dreadful. I don’t believe that’s all just because they are cheating up to help stop Newton’s run game. They are just stinking.

They cheat up when they shouldn’t, and play back when they shouldn’t. It’s the Cam factor, he just makes you pay with his legs or his arm no matter what you do.

I reallllly don’t care for Fairley. He costs Auburn a couple of 15-yarders in almost every game.

He’s a dirty player. Simple as that.

Put Vince Young and Reggie Bush into the game. They’re not doing anything tonight.

Awesome back to back calls by Chip Kelly!

Fake punt was great, next play pass was great, set them up for a td…and they failed.

heh

Looks like the game winner is the fact that Auburn is too stingy in the red zone. Oregon’s quickness based running game has no room there.

Well, this happens a lot. When two teams with similar profiles meet, their mutual strengths end up cancelling out and their other attributes make the difference. We’ll see if the 4th quarter has an explosion of scoring.

Not so far.

Yep, and he only gets flagged when it’s flagrant (about every fifth time or so he does smething dirty). Fuck that fat fuckin’ cheater.

Oregon’s had Auburn at 3rd down probably a dozen times and very rarely has stopped them. So frustrating.

That touchdown is on that fucking Fairley.

Well, and on that ref.

Wooohoooo! Go Pac-Ten!

Boy, that’s lame. A place where the letter of the rule really goes against the fact Dyer was well tackled.

Edit: well, that’s it. Auburn’s defense was just too good for Oregon’s speed to work it’s magic.

“This is for all the tostitos”. I wish rats would eat Musburger’s tongue.

Sweet. So f’in sweet.

5 straight SEC Championships is like delicious icing.

Let the 'bama fans begin their “It will be taken away” tirade.

Man, I have chest pains after that.

This was a really good game, aside from the stress of actually watching it. Both teams truly deserved to be there. Oregon’s a hell of a team.

I’m actually glad Dyer had that touchdown call go against him. I wouldn’t have wanted there to be a controversy, and there certainly would have been one.

A great tackle nullified by the rules. Sigh. But dem’s da breaks! Oregon took 'em to the limit, but Auburn seemed to be the better team, even if they only won it in the last two seconds.

I don’t care for this result, but that call was a good one. Gotta play to the whistle.

I didn’t care for Oregon’s playcalling at times. Maybe Thomas was making bad reads but either way Oregon shouldn’t have tried to bang runs inside when that clearly wasn’t working. Run a toss play or something to the outside.

Also, who predicted someone other than Cam Newton as the MVP?
