Come guess this movie in the 2017 20:20 game!

Going for the tear jerkers, eh Woolen? One of my daughter’s favorites: Me Before You

Damnit. Teenage girls. Ugh, this was going to go the distance, too.

60:60

80:80 (Yes, this movie has a lot of overly expressive faces. I think to try to balance out Emilia Clarke’s eyebrow acting.)

100:100 (Speaking of the Khaleesi)

OK then. On a different note: New 20:20:

Gene Hackman and Will Patton? I see no way out of this one.

I’m going to take that as a correct answer.

Back to you, Mr. Horde!

So for, uh, the casual film fans here, what movie is that?

No Way Out.

You make it seem so obvious in retrospect ;)

It’s a pretty interesting movie, too. A pretty good thriller with a pretty good cast and some nice twists and turns. It’s most likely still worth watching, I’d say, but I’m not sure how well it aged.

I saw it for the first time a couple of years ago. Worth seeing. Don’t read anything about it first.

And away we go.

20:20

Is that The Light Between Oceans?

-xtien

Yes.

(Insert obligatory Kelly Wand Vikander impersonation here)

As if that hadn’t been inserted into last night’s nightmares already, @dwinn.

That first frame, the 20:20, is just so lovely. And the juxtaposition perfectly states how I felt about the movie. I loved all the stuff in the lighthouse. The mechanics and procedures of his job, and even his letter writing…I preferred all of that to the soap opera that followed.

The new twenty:

Hot Pursuit?

No. Is that a thing I should watch?

-xtien

That looks like Teresa Palmer, but I don’t know the movie.
