I’ve only watched the first three episodes of this season and I hated them. I’m about ready to write the season off, can anyone recommend any highlights?

This is exactly where I am, there must be magic here somewhere (similar to how Seasons 1 of The Office and Parks and Rec were pretty weak) since its going into season 5 , but I need to know it gets better soon (is there a difinitive awesome episode in season 1?). So far I don’t like anyone on the show, and its not really funny. :(

What Jazar said. That episode alone makes the first season a classic. Although I enjoyed it long before that.

My personal favorite episode is Pillows and Blankets from season 3. I almost lost a lung laughing at their version of an ironside.

I find his music…confusing. He’s a talented man, and some people seem to love his work as Childish Gambino, but to me it’s sort of like when you’re watching a foreign comedy and you’re aware that there’s SOMETHING going on you’re supposed to react to but instead you just feel perplexed. I don’t get it at all.

Yeah, I can see that. I really like the music he has done for Community but he probably wasn’t the one who wrote it.

Edit: just watched that video I linked. Golly I love this show. It just gets me.

There’s not going to be a laugh-out-loud hilarious episode, generally. It’s more subtle than that and very character-driven. Modern Warfare is pretty far in, but I’d say that if you didn’t like the Halloween episode, you probably won’t like the rest of the show.

I think that everyone should watch the D&D episode though. That’s one damn fine half hour of television.

Seen on the white board for the upcoming season of Community “Dungeons and Dragons 2 Episode” (source, comment from Christ Hardwick on a recent episode of Nerdist Podcast). Hopefully that’s an episode they actually write/film!

Also, I agree with MrPerson. I feel like Glover’s music is the rap equivalent of Tenacious D., it’s real music, but with an inside joke that I’m supposed to find hilarious but somehow just don’t understand.
