After premiering at SBSW earlier this year to decent reviews, CBS will be premiering the documentary, based on Blake J. Harris’ Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo, And The Battle That Defined A Generation, on September 23. I had heard about this project years ago, but for some reason I was under the impression it was going to be a fictional feature, but hearing from some principles of both companies involved sounds way more interesting to me.
I watched this tonight. I was just planning to start it, but I couldn’t stop watching, it’s just edited so well to be a compelling story. It also helps that I wasn’t really aware of the Nintendo vs Sega wars since I was in college at the time, so pretty much all this was new to me.
