I always pictured you like this anyhow:
Which, btw, is ultra-cool.
It is zero. From what I’ve seen these folks have been kinda happy during lockdown, though some of it is because others got a taste of what their lives are like.
There’s also two other groups that really don’t want unmasking under any circumstances: The first is folks who have social anxiety either in general or about showing their faces, and the second is folks who’ve gone full Dunning-Kruger and have politicized the mask themselves.
It looks like it may be time for a change of avatar!

The wife had her second Moderna the other day. The day after she was a wreck.
She works from home, in her upstairs office. Not this day. She never gets sick. And I say this after 25+ years with her. She has never been this bad.
Headache, joint pain, fever, inability to hold down food. She spent the entire day curled up on the couch drinking water. And occasionally I would help her into the bathroom to, remove the water. :)
She didn’t want food but I ordered egg drop soup from our favorite Chinese place. She had most of it and I think it helped.
The next day I watched as she did a strange dance while singing, I feel so much better. I am fine now!
So for the best. I am so glad she got over it so quickly. I know others do not, sometimes.
I got my second ShingriX shot today. Hurts like hell, just like the first one. The COVID vax? No problemo.

This is my stance. One week to go, but it’s rough when your entire state has decided to pretend Covid doesn’t exist anymore.
I’m basically living on fast food and whatever was in my cupboards at this point.
That was me too, and today was the magical two week mark. Took my wife out to dinner in a for-real sit-down restaurant. Oh I should add it was our 18 year wedding anniversary. Normally my saying to my wife “All we are doing for our anniversary is going out for dinner” would be met with a frosty response but not in this circumstance. We had a magical night out.
Yeah, we had our 20th last month and didn’t go out at all, as we she wasn’t fully vaccinated yet. I did splurge on a lot of flowers, though!

Our last two anniversaries have basically been low key things as we cancelled out of town trips to celebrate. We did eat out locally last March for our 40th though. But we were supposed to be in Monterey.
Obvious solution, buy some Monterey Jack and make quesadillas.
40th! Congratulations :)
I don’t know exactly where Monterey is but I suggest a special trip when possible.
It’s like a mild mozzarella.
I could see using Monterey Jack in a quesadilla if trapped in COVID quarantine with no grocery store access, sure.

Or queso asadero for purists.
Yes chihuahua string cheese is the best, but he’s trying to evoke the romance of Monterey here, homies.

Monterey, California is considered some of the most beautiful coastline in California. It also has great food everywhere. It is probably my favorite place to over spend when out of town, although there are other coastal areas much cheaper and almost as nice.

I often try to evoke the romance of Italy while eating aged provolone. On a meatball hero. In my shorts. On the couch. To each their own.
BTW ricotta salata is better than feta. Fight me.
Naw don’t fight me. They are both wonderful.
