That would be muy hunch. Korea’s testing is so extensive as to qualify as random sampling.
But it’s true there’s no study using Korea’s data, so maybe it’s true 80-90% of cases are a symptomatic. We’ll see.

Critical cases: 30% vs 9% vs 1%. I think this is because as you said, S.Korea is testing enough as to count as random sampling, so they are catching many more ‘mild condition’, making the % of serious/critical go down.

South Korea had a huge Church cluster of cases that skewed really young. 45% of their cases are in age ranges where Italy, for example, has registered no deaths.

And again, Italy’s numbers show the effect of a collapsed healthcare. South Korea´s,healthcare has been much less stressed due to their cases skewing young and thus having less cases requiring ICUs. Italy’s percentage of reported cases in the age range with no fatalities is under 20% compared to SK’s 45%
