As of today, 48,000 people have been tested in the US by official state-wide counts. But…a lot of states aren’t tracking private lab testing, and that testing is starting to ramp up heavily in the US.

There’s a lot of work to do obviously, and the response has been insufficient to date. But there are signs it’s getting better.

my brother is in Dubai, full lock down and moneys no object, I’m more confident of his safety than mine. His kids are in Serbia with lockdown and travel restrictions. My brother works for a Pan-African company as CEO. Theyve shut locations and he’s paying staff full wages for one month, then move to half wages and then living expenses until they go bust because “I’m responsible for a 1000 lives mate”. In one of his countries everything was forcibly shut down and anyone on the streets is being shot due to 1 case. I guess the strongman dictator warlord being a germophobe is a good thing eh.

You can in decent countries with ethical and moral leadership, they’ve made provisions to stop mortgages and bills, but not the UK.
