USA is slowly going on lock-down. Trump seems to have decided coronavirus is a state-level issue that need to be fought at state-level.

How are they distinguishing ‘full lockdown’? Ecuador permits food and pharmacies to operate with restrictions. Otherwise people are ordered to stay home and all businesses are closed. Driving is restricted. Police and military are stopping cars to query what people are doing, sending them home and/or arresting them. Airports closed, public transportation shut down, all municipal spaces closed, etc.
Yep, at least on the state level the US has pretty competent elected officials.
