He just keeps doubling down on what is clearly a bad hand. A disastrously bad hand.

If only Coronavirus only killed idiots who think like Trump. It’d be the single most impactful thing to happen to the world in a long time.

Great choice. I ate a lot of Georgian food when I spent a year in Moscow.

FWIW, Amazon still has bulk packages of toilet paper available for delivery in the next couple days. But not a lot.
Fortunately, there are a lot of leaves on my block
Don’t use aloe vera or pineapples.
Well if liberal media groups report on it and fox lies, covid19 will have a Republican bias.

They should advise the elderly and those with chronic illnesses to stay home when possible, avoid crowded situation, cancel trips, cruises and back all that up with some funds to prop those industries for a short period of time. In the grand scheme a matter of months, a year is short and the cost to assist with these choices is better than the cost of more people getting sick.
Anyone with even a hint of a fever, stay home.
And screw that orange twit for downplaying the flu like that. There is no need to panic, but he makes it sounds like the flu is minor, and sure as hell is not.

No kidding. I was in a stall at the restroom here at work (Yes, I’m sure y’all really want to visualize that, but I’m going somewhere with this) when someone entered the stall next to me and proceeded to hack and wheeze for about a minute straight. I’m not normally a germaphobe at all, but it made my skin crawl, with everything in the news. Just thinking about what else this guy has touched on the office floor and everything else…
Stay home, asshole.
Narrator: Denmark went from 35 to 90 in one day.
I suspect the low numbers registered in Denmark till now have been mostly a result of people not taking symptoms seriously, and thus not being tested.
Edit: Didn’t see Razgon already mentioned this.
My workplace has advised that for everyone who works there. Most work related travel has been cancelled, all meetings of over 25 people are cancelled (or replaced with virtual meetings), etc. I’m already washing my hands each time I re-enter my home (or when I get to work), and I’m practicing social distancing.
I’d get into the habit now.

The cruise ship that was stranded off SF is coming in to dock now. I just watched as it made way past land’s end into the golden gate. They are going to let off passengers at the port of Oakland and quarantine them at nearby military bases.
In the Michael Crichton novel Timeline, toward the end one of the characters gets transported back to the time of the plague and wonders how he will survive; he thinks about how the only warning you get is that you start coughing, and then he starts coughing.
Half a million deaths would be… well… 100x worse than 9/11?
So with 546 confirmed cases and 22 deaths that would make the death rate… 4%… and Trump is happy about this?
Here’s hoping there are many, many more unconfirmed cases. If the show Chernobyl has taught me anything about estimates in times of emergency, though…
Right now my MO is ‘don’t worry and do be a semi-paranoid clean freak’.
In what ways does quarantine intersect with civil rights etc.? Does it have to be voluntary, or can people be confined against their will?

Do you recall… this:
Granted Ebola is a completely different animal, so I am not equating it to the coronavirus issues, but there was a court question here about confinement.

If Japanese internment camps during WW2 were found constitutional, I’m certain so would quarantines for public health.
Though it does beg the question of when Trump will begin to “quarantine” his political opponents. If time has proven anything, it’s that there is nothing too low or illegal for his administration.
Where will he put them? All your concentration camps are filled with children.
