Pour one out for Burnout, my friends. Eurogamer captured the Twitter updates of Criterion chief Alex Ward telling fans that they will be moving away from racing games for the foreseeable future. Here is what I want folks to know..

It is disappointing in that Most Wanted was a terrific step up from Hot Pursuit, but hey, if they want to try their hand at other games I can understand wanting to branch out. As much as I love them, I can't imagine driving/racing games are wildly lucrative.
Aw, man.
Dammit, I really liked Burnout AND Hot Pursuit, in all of its weird Mario Kart-Top Gear-TV police chase mash-up glory.
Did NFS:MW still have those annoying slo-mo crashes?
Good. I'd would freaking love to see a sequel to BLACK, which is one of my favorite shooters.
