Can I do 4k 60fps on my 750 TI?
I don’t knowing they have the required “ultra low” preset…
This game isn’t some corridor shooter. Its a large open world RPG game. To pull off this level of fidelity on that scale with the RPG game systems, and mechanics also is pretty damn impressive work.
I think that’s supposed to be MILFguard.
Though checking just now I seem to have at some point created my own similar but different definition, “mother in-law fetish”.

Maybe it looks better animated, but this didn’t look any good to me. Look at the sign on the left for example, or the ‘plastic’ look of everything that is supposedly wet. Sure, there are lots of light sources and effects… but. Meh. Its too… “clean”.
Yeah, these are the sharpest of knees.
I’m starting to wonder if this is more Yakuza open world than say Witcher/GTA.

What would it mean, exactly?
Narratively, it seems to be still strongly using the style of TW3, from what people said after playing the preview. It seems to be less GTA-y, apart from having a open city and driveable cars.

Over the course of Cyberpunk 2077’s development I have seen little that can cause me to get hyped.
The graphical quality looks good, but they also look good in some other games I have never played. The RPG mechanics, at least what has been revealed so far, look cool but again it isn’t the first fps with cool RPG mechanics. The fact that you have 3 possible starts that then converge to the main storyline is also pretty standard and nothing to really note.
It all comes down to the quality of execution. The writing, the immersion of the graphics when you’re actually playing the game, the feeling of the guns when you click the trigger, and so on. You can’t really show any of that off when demoing or previewing the game, the only reason I have preordered is because of their Witcher rep. The quality of TW3 was so great I am going to trust them.
If this game was being made by some other developer I probably wouldn’t have paid much attention unless I already noticed the reviews being extremely positive.
Oh, the art design has been excellent throughout. That is one thing they can show off well when demoing the game.

Yea, sorry I didn’t join the collective masturbation orgy around some screenshots. Want to buy a spaceship JPEG?
I’m looking forward to it even though the setting doesn’t really get me excited. It feels like a bit too much grittiness for me but then again, it’s not a venue that’s been explored a whole lot in these kind of games so I’m willing to go with it.
I also found out my 2016 rig can run it, as I’m just above the minimum specs. So I can’t wait to get my 10 frames per second on! I am planning to build a new machine this fall but my timing is uncertain due to video card upheavals and an unexpected home renovation that costS a little more than we anticipated.

As someone who grew up playing Shadowrun, this intrigues me to no end! I don’t really care about the graphics though, but am more interested in systems, and freedom of the world - The rpg systems have been rather scant from what I’ve seen so far, which is a shame, but that could be because its not something the developers think people care about.
I do have to think though, that the pedigree of the game IS a major Pen&Paper rpg, so a lot of people would be interested in those kind of systems.
Bout a bajillion screenshots posted. Are you commenting on just this one, or the game in total?
I do agree that computers can technically produce more realistic graphics today. And tomorrow even better. I personally hopped off that train long ago though. Too expensive and I found that art design is way more important than poly’s, textures and fancy lighting when it comes to visuals.
I’m digging the Blade Runner stamp on this, but not enough for a full price purchase. If the gameplay reviews come in hot then maybe. RPG mechanics tying into strategic game-play are more important to me than story. I found that a bit lacking in Witcher 3. The +1 to unarmed style upgrades we saw a few months ago on this has me wary. Seemed pretty uninspired.

“This” as in; the picture I commented upon. It looked like it could’ve been mistaken for a screenshot from Sleeping Dogs.
Hard to comment upon the game as I haven’t played it and as we have learned from earlier pre-release stuff, you can’t always trust what is being shown/said.
We’ll know soon enough, unless the 3-6th waves lock down everything.

I keep forgetting this is a FPS, and I won’t be running around the game with a laser sword.
I am still mildly hyped.

There are katanas and there are laser (or at least super heated) arm blades. Not sure about laser swords per se, but I think it is a reasonable assumption.
