Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date
Cyberpunk 2077 is getting released on December 10 for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and Google Stadia . Due to the game having a simultaneous launch worldwide, you should be able to start the game at midnight local time if you are from the UK .
Everywhere else, depending on where you are, this means that you could be able to play Cyberpunk 2077 earlier on December 9! However, the release time and date are dependant on whether you are playing on PC or console.
The title has been delayed several times, and this time it is 100% (we hope) official that it will not be changed again!

Cyberpunk 2077 release time depends on your time zone. If you are one of the lucky ones, you may get to play Cyberpunk 2077 a day early, as it is getting a simultaneous release across the world. As the release is based on GMT Time , which means other time zones will get the game earlier!

They timed it almost perfectly with the end of my semester… my last class goes from 7-9pm on Tuesday the 9th, EST. So two hours after release, I’ll have a month off to Cyberpunk my ass off! Maybe I should just cancel that last class… I think my students would understand.

Same. Off from Dec 16th until New Years, plus I’m stuck in a foreign country with no way to go home for Christmas thanks to Covid. Just me, CP77 and probably lots and lots of beer, for two weeks.
I’ll probably do a half day Thursday. Usually with these highly anticipated games, I get so excited that I don’t actually feel like playing them a ton the first day. I have to ease into it. Wednesday night should be perfect.
The funny thing is my wife scheduled her yearly hotel visit with our kids that weekend to a place that always ends up being a super stressful and annoying experience for me. She already suggested I should stay home this year so I don’t get cranky, which would mean nonstop Cyberpunk all weekend. Not sure I can pass that up — sorry kids!
Lucky bastage. My semester ends the 18th, with grades due the 20th. And I have three classes worth of final projects being turned in on the 18tth. Whee.

I don’t remember the last time I got a game at release on PC. Is this available for pre-load anywhere? Is that a thing for PC?
That’s where the whole concept started! It’s typically not till a few days out. As crazy people addicted to gaming, the anticipation of the preload date is almost as exciting as getting to play.
Great, it unlocks 1AM here. Will take some 30 minutes to decrypt…bah, who needs sleep anyway.
I’m in the same camp as others here. Day 1 purchase…after I find a 3080.
I just hope I can preload in time. When anyone downloads big files, it eats up pretty much all the bandwidth for some reason. Maybe we need a new router.
