What! The recommended specs are for a 1060/1660. Shouldn’t a GTX 1080 be more than sufficient?
I believe @Profanicus was saying that @Houngan is within recommended, which he is. So yes, a 1080 is indeed more than sufficient - no one is saying otherwise. Hell, it would probably run at 1440p pretty well, for that matter, though again we don’t know if these specs target 30 or 60fps.
Yeah the question was ‘is this a no-go?’ and my answer was ‘no, it’s not a no-go!’ :)

Is there any word on pre-loads? I have the GOG version, so I’m hoping they let users download all the major files ahead of launch and then when the game goes live do something like release a small-yet-crucial encrypted executable/installer to let people with slow connections dive in quickly.
I have a vague recollection of GOG doing a preload with the Witcher 3, so I’m hoping they do it for this as well.
Yeah, no official word on preloads yet. Witcher 3 was about a week before, I think, so we might have news today. ;)
Finally, a Cyberpunk trailer I can watch, with no fear of spoilers! Woohoo!
