Oh yes. Atmos + OLED is breathtaking.

Please don’t be, I’m just joking around. :) I really enjoy your unbridled enthusiasm even though I don’t share it. I hope the game lives up to the hype for you!
I did say I should, not that I am, I know we are just shooting shit :)
Although yeah the word televangelist has gotten a very sinister meaning for me after having seen that.

Those novels helped build the world and characters not interesting quest writing. No difference in Cyberpunk.
Here in the land of supersized soda, coal-rolling pick up trucks, and megachurches, “televangelist” has been a curse word for half the country for ages. The other half, of course, are the ones attending or giving to those megachurches.
Growing up in the American South, I had my fill of TV preachers (and their street-corner down-at-the-heel brethren) long ago.

Where are those frame rate averages from @TurinTur?
The review release is supposedly inaccurate due to copy protection.

Please post how it performs once you get it all loaded up and patched. Thanks.
Part 2 of YongYea’s review of CP2077. He mentions (again) how much he enjoyed the sidequests and their writing.
I’ll at least wait until Nvidia produces a new driver. Surprised that they haven’t already pushed one.
Not directed at any entity in particular, but I find this statement amusing.
Most developers and many players of Denuvo (or other DRM) protected games bend over backwards claiming that the DRM has a negligible or even zero hit on performance and it really isn’t something to get worked up about. Now, CDPR are freaking out saying that the DRM will have a MAJOR impact on performance so all pre-release benchmarks need to be retracted and are invalid. So which is it?
Newer than the ones posted today?

Will do. Note that my impressions will be relative to other PS4 games, not relative to PC, as I won’t have a PC version to compare to. I suspect it will be fine.
Guess I didn’t investigate hard enough.
Hopefully, investigator skills aren’t a requirement in Sin City if you have other skills? :)

I suspect that the DRM involved here is different than what you would run as an end-consumer, as the DRM for a reviewer may be doing things like tagging stuff to a very specific individual for the purpose of tracking leaks and stuff.

As an expert at creating interesting but unintentionally useless characters in RPGs, this also piques my interest.

I am offended that no one gives me 2080 Ti performance numbers, and ultrawide, dammit. I’ll do my own experimenting tonight I guess!
The numbers are from this live stream
More numbers comparing the presets,
rtx 2070 super, extra super high end cpu (amd 5900x) 1080p, 95 º fov:
Low 108 fps
Medium 101 fps
High 85 fps
Ultra 77 fps
Hopefully it is something specific like that. I’ve always been skeptical of claims that DRM has negligible impact on performance, but that is hard to prove beyond benchmarks that the cracker scene community release.
Again I know the DRM may be unique here, but it is refreshing to see a developer voicing performance concerns instead of hand-waving it away (as expected from the owners of GOG).
