Am I going crazy or is the game playing a very subtle audio while it runs in background, that sounds a bit like hard drive is working?
About an hour in, pretty damn good so far, everything on high/ ultra, no bugs just yet. Combat/ hacking tutorial is well done, imo.

This training tutorial is amazing. Melee and hacking are fantastic!
No point in trying to run this on a 1080 at 1440p, us there?
No such bug on Xbox. All that intro sequence was glitch free.
I may be hearing the same thing now that you mention it. I just alt-tabbed out and sort of hear it now.
Loved those. I was terrible at the advanced combat finale though. Just when I thought: I got this.
Lucky…I will replay it tomorrow after I wake up (really tired now, almost 3AM) so I am curious if it will reappear.

Ouch, had 2 hard locks (required reboot) so far. Event viewer isn’t very helpful.

Anybody else had the game repeatedly crash right after you see the Hello Night City video? I am on pc (GOG version). I have the latest Nvidia driver and have verified my install through GOG Galaxy.

I’m completely stuck in the stealth tutorial. It says I need to hold tab and click middle mouse to tag the guards. I’ve been doing that and nothing. Can’t leave the tutorial either.

Once you enter the hack screen (I recommend switching binds, tab and caps lock respectively, to get toggle on tab) aim at the guards indvidually and press MMB on all of them.
Each of the guards need to show the arrows indicating they are tagged. Not just some of them.

None of them do because it simply does not register. I even tried remapping the tag button from middle mouse to a key just in case my mouse is the issue. Nothing. When I move the mouse over in hacking mode it lights them up with the red outline, but the tag key does nothing.
I think if you target the Yellowish icons above the guards with MMB. Not their center mass. I was confused for a bit. At least that seemed to work for me.
Same using a controller. I targetted the tags, not the bodies.
This is really something. I put about 90 minutes in and I’m in love so far. It looks jaw dropping gorgeous and runs like a dream, though I forgot to check my FPS (I’m used it being displayed via Steam, so I’ll add it as a non-Steam game for next time).
I like the flow and feel of the game - the combat is excellent, the stealth is well done from what I’ve seen, and quick hacking is fucking amazing - take that Legion, holy shit I’m a hot minute in and I’ve already had more fun with hacking here than I did with 20 hours of Legion. May have to re-think my character direction, though I found gaining a point in Handguns after fucking up my attempt at stealth to be sublime and rewarding feeling.
I’ve never cared at all for the ‘cyberpunk’ aesthetic, but I will admit that this game nails the look. The city feels like one of the Bladerunner movies.
No idea if you have a controller, Thrag, but if you do, you might try that. I used a controller, and had no issue tagging the guards and completing that.

Ah, thankfully there are multiple autosaves. The save from when I entered the stealth tutorial was still bugged, but after loading and redoing the prior tutorial things worked.
