Noted. I think I can disable the rumble in windows under controllers. I really should do that as I always leave it plugged in and get the shit scared out of me when it goes off and I’m NOT using the controller.

Thanks for the additional info in the thread, Scott. Much appreciated.

My character needs to visit a mohel.

Does this game have randomly generated loot? I’m looking at two identical pistols in my inventory, one is green tier, one white (I guess that’s rarity?), and green has lower values:

Well, it isn’t common to find such a bad Unity pistol.

So…Adam Jensen?

I’ve yet to see any of the game breaking bugs that folks were suggesting, knock on wood.

Two bug so far
One was trying to open my apartment door for the first time. Wouldn’t register as clickable, had to save and exit. Restart fixed it.
Second was a quest dialogue that wouldn’t trigger complete to continue quest. I quit for the night after that one, got a n early rise tomorrow.

It looks and runs great so far and it just oozes atmosphere. I wandered around the small opening areas marveling at the detail, listening to random conversations, etc.

Wait, is the reason the quickhack tutorial was so painfully slow is because I was supposed to exit from the tab mode to go back to real-time? Because that was terrible. I used the hold button (switched from caps to tab as suggested) and just sat there for a minute.

And thats why it costs more. Collectors seek such a rare model which was discontinued.

I submit a plausible justification for you @Bateau! but yeah that seems odd.

I think it’s to allow you to time when you want to start a breach, I myself thought it was intuitive (given that the TAB mode seems to super-slow down time giving you a chance to scan and plan, so to speak).

Time what? What was intuitive? It was a disk filling with a red color. I waited for it to complete and then exited the mode. I think I missed something obvious.

I edited my post but when you hold down TAB time seems to dilate/slow, I think so you can look around and scan things and have time to read the results and determine what you might want to do or hack. If you stay in the scan mode, the “breach” icon will fill but veeeeeery slowly, maybe not even at all, until you go back to normal mode/real time.

I am so excited for all of you, a little bit envious. But I refuse to buy this game until I get my hands on a 3080. I’m extremely glad that the game is good, not buggy and is universally acclaim!

What card do you have now? My son is playing on an XBox One and he’s having a blast, surely you could match that by hitting up Medium/High settings and enjoy the ride? It may not look perfect but that’s why you replay it next year when the first expansion drops and you have a 3080 card.

Sigh.

Hardbound keys are just part of some hidden Indiana Jones type developer Bible aren’t they?

I won’t go so far as to say it’s unplayable, but F is literally bound to be the main interaction key in almost every single way and I can’t see any way to change it.

Grrr.

Edit - it’s not even in the configuration file that I could see.

What’s wrong with the F key? Just curious. I guess normally it’s E in games like this, now you mention it, but I just started using the keys they told me and it felt normal pretty quickly.

I use ESDF, so that’s my strafe key.

Uh… like instead of WASD? You kids these days. :)

Yeah, it’s far more natural when you learned to touch type. It’s literally home row, and happens to give you easier access to more keys.

Huge pet peeve when devs do this.

They not have rebinds? Edit: I see not. Wow. yeah peeve for me as well. Huge one (and I am guilty of it myself I am ashamed to say).
