Anyone played on console yet?

Looks and plays well on my vanilla Xbox One

It has arrived!!!

Played decent last night on PS4 Pro. But, I didnt do a lot in Night City yet…so the jury is still out.

Damn it. I’m on the verge of caving and buying the PC version.

You don’t want them to run out like everything else!

I’ve got a PS4 disc copy inbound, but reports are that it runs terribly.

The YouTube videos were not encouraging, sadly. I was hoping for it to be like RDR2. It is not.

Since we lack the PC power either, I’m strongly considering using GeForce Now for it. Sounds like it works there just fine with pretty decent settings.

I actually have a PC that could theoretically run it ok, so I guess I’ll probably return my disc copy unopened and grab it from GOG. (My secret to PC power is I use a 1080 monitor, which boosts my performance considerably.) Unfortunate. The PS4 is still capable of amazing visuals. Rockstar seems to be able to wring every last pixel out of it. TW3 ran and looked really good on the PS4.

I don’t think Cyberpunk 2077 will run well on a XBox One S or a basic PS4 ever.

Yes. It plays great on my XBox One X (not Series X. Don’t have one).

PS5 backwards compatibility is easily the best way to play Cyberpunk 2077 on a Sony console. Solid 60fps performance provides a smooth experience, and the bugs, while still noticeable every now and then, aren’t too bad. Enable HDR, and it can be a pretty game — just don’t expect it to blow your socks off. Hopefully the full PS5 upgrade will get the job done in 2021.

Cyberpunk 2077 is far from a bad deal on PS4 Pro. It may be locked at 30fps, but it runs well enough, despite some noticeable pop-in from time to time.

Cyberpunk 2077 plays okay on [base] PS4. Hurrah! However, it’s got some noticeable graphical and technical inconsistencies. It’s undeniably rough around the edges on Sony’s last-gen console, with framerate dips and abundant pop-in damaging your sense of immersion. It’s not the disaster that we were half expecting it to be — far from it — but it’s clear that sacrifices had to made in order to get this thing up and running on PS4.

We already gave you guys an extra 3 weeks for improvements, so that’s what you’re stuck with at release! Sorry! Maybe it will improve later. But I agree I don’t think they’re going to wring every last bit of performance out of it. CDP loves their enhanced editions, but overhauling last gen performance sounds like a massive waste.

The OST is included in the game, you can download it as extras

But in addition you have the radio stations, which are not in the OST. Time to search on youtube!

I’m playing on the XSX.

The XBox has an option to run in “quality” mode, which is apparently something that you can’t do on the PS for some reason.

This apparently pushes the resolution up to max. For me, this is pointless, since my TV is only 1080p anyway… and since it’s not optimized for the next gen consoles anyway, this does not seem to work super well.

Maybe on a 4k TV, this would be good, and someone else can speak to that, but with my XSX running on a 1080p TV, all it does is make the framerate lower. I didn’t see any obvious graphical changes otherwise.

Running in “performance” mode, which is the default, runs at a solid 60fps. And it looks good, but it does not appear to have all the fancy next gen stuff, like ray tracing and stuff.

Any indication that you are able to change your appearance after character creation?

Also, respec options?

Word on the net is that there is no way to change your character’s appearance after creation.

You can respec your character using a specific item that you can buy, but which is very expensive.

Here’s gameplay on PS4. A fairly solid 30fps, but I gotta say, the game looks pretty rough.

Compare to this:

I don’t care who you are, that’s funny right there.

LOL. Good one…
