All indications are that the ps5 tends to run things almost identically to the XSX, and the performances on the XSX is solid, so you can probably safely play it on your ps5 without issue.
However, currently, if you really want to see it in its full glory, then the PC is the only option running all the fancy next gen stuff. (Assuming you have a PC capable of running it with those settings)
Is anyone playing with Xbone controller? Do you get vibration feedback? I have it in menu set default (100) but so far it is not vibrating (when shooting, driving etc). Another bug?

I just checked. There doesn’t appear to be a mod for this yet.
I guess I don’t care much about the Red Launcher. I think I’ll try the mod to change interact from F to E.

Plus the whole being nude but look down and you’re still wearing pants. Though for some reason they upgrade to underwear in Act 2.
But aside from that…
I’m constantly being blown away by how good this game is. Just, everything. It really lives up to the hype.
Yeah I started as Nomad and it’s pretty next-level to me. It looks so good with ray tracing. I know it’s all been heavily scripted so far (up to the apartment), but it reminded me of the first time playing Half-Life 2, with all the little dialogues and character interactions and things happening around you.
Minimal jank to pull me out of it, I did see my t-pose shadow getting out of the car, and my sidekick walking through elevator doors…
On controller it feels nice, way better than Watch Dogs Legion did.
Here’s another console versions comparison, they cover last/next but are a bit more subjective, we’ll really need to wait for Digital Foundry to really dig in with pixel counts
Wow, XboneS is lucky if its 24 fps. Most of the time it’s living at 15. That’s damn near unplayable over hours.
And some of those scenes where it doesn’t look too off it terms of visuals, except there are no NPCs on screen at all in the Xbox One S version.

This is an extremely good comparative breakdown.
Interestingly, in this comparison, some of the PS5 shots look crisper than the XSX ones, which is the opposite of what I saw in the other comparison.
I think that would suggest that overall the graphical performance is pretty much equivalent between the two, which is what I’d have expected.

When did DF become defacto? they efffing suck.
I don’t not have a Series S/X. I’m on the One X (not OG Xbox) and it plays just fine. Given the limited CPU and the fact I don’t have a SSD, I’m still quite content i don’t need to rush to upgrade.
What don’t you like about them?
Say what? Care to explain how the extremely detailed work they do effing sucks?

This game is so rough.
Performance is really inconsistent on a 3700x and 1080Ti. I don’t have the latest drivers but am scared to update with all of the problems 1080Ti owners are having on them.
After loading my ‘street kid’ start, I see two glaring graphical bugs in the FIRST ROOM OF THE GAME. A girl with legs that don’t exist, and a guy who spoke on his phone and then walked away, leaving the phone suspended in mid-air.
