Am I missing something about Ricochet?
I was actually in a scenario where it seemed like it might be useful, but… I wasn’t getting any of the indications that I feel like I should. Like I’m pretty sure I got cyberware and they made a big deal about how it was going to let me see Ricochet trajectories or something, but I’ve never seen them.

Lol, I am talking to the first quest giver NPC of the game in a club and I am seeing groups of outside palm trees clip into my vision from afar. I can’t remember playing a buggier game than this.

I mean, there’s a driver out there specifically for this game. I think by not running that driver, you’re kinda asking for graphical issues. :)
EDIT: Not to say I blame you for not running them if there are known issues for your particular card!

Theyre ok i guess, I just dont like that people wil use there site as ammunition in the Console Warz… or PC Master Race. It is so stupid. I do own both consoles, and will get both xsx and ps5… but I am more excited that MS is actually putting up a fight against Sony. I really dont think these consoles would have SSD if MS wasnt in the mix… .or theyd be 750+ bucks.
DF does nothing to encourage the console wars, and in fact it bothers them too how negative and combative the fans can get. But that’s not DF’s fault and they really do an excellent job presenting detailed, objective, comparisons.
I played about the first 30 minutes on my Xbox one X, and seems to play fine. Framerate was completely satisfactory, although I have yet to really get into Night City, with some of the more demanding areas. Looks fine, too, although it doesn’t really compare to a high end PC maxed.
Amazon’s recommendation engine was pushing Cyberpunk for kid’s gifts.

Gorgeous game obviously, already hit a couple minor graphical bugs, the cops randomly took offense and destroyed me once, and performance seems to go to shit after an hour or so. I can’t tell my FPS because the Nvidia overlay just straight-up doesn’t work with it running, but it was smooth as butter in the prologue and then when I left V’s apartment it kinda went to shit.
Obviously it’s better looking with all the ray-tracing bells and whistles, but the art direction and world building is what’s truly amazing. Don’t feel bad running it on a console.

Nah, during my stream last night had to restart it every 2 hours because it would slowly go from 60 to 25 fps

Yeah, the framerates actually made me nauseous so I stopped playing for a bit. That was probably 3 hours in.
I can’t even imagine how poorly it must play on a Xbone S. Probably has to run at 480p.

That does make me wonder if there’s degrading performance while playing 2+ hours on PS5/XSX? Can anyone here on those platforms comment?

Dumb question about gear: It seems like scopes and muzzles I buy only work on certain guns (say, a pistol but not an assault rifle) whereas others work on both. Is there any indication of this on the items?
