Yeah I’ve been running into those. It’s always junk objects it seems.

exact some one I tried to pick up last night as well. Maybe that one is bugged

I looked as well. Couldnt figure it out. I end up loading, buying then reloading after I figured out which one fitted, which is less than ideal.

I missed that particular one (or it worked for me, I don’t think I knew what “junk” items were during the Nomad life path at that point) but I found a second one later in a garage in the back seat of a car. That was just two out of… uh, 100,000 junk items I’ve picked up, so I don’t think it’s a wide spread issue. :)

I made a Nomad, my wife made a Corpo-rat. She just doesn’t get playing “good” characters in any game. We are truly made for each other. :D

I’ll say this, I found the corporate intro much more interesting and visually immersive than the Nomad one. Made me connect with the character more.

Well, you shamed me into upgrading the drivers and I haven’t seen any PC problems yet. I actually haven’t come across a graphical glitch in-game since updating, so turns out they are important! FPS is still pretty bad given the settings, but at least it’s playable.

Yeah, I’m playing Corpo, and I think they did a great job on the intro for it. It’s nice that you start out in the city from the start.

Torn on whether to take advantage of the Russian price, which feels like it would be a bit wrong but wouldn’t it be the cyberpunk thing to do? We’ll see how long my willpower holds out.

Ridiculously awesome.

Yes!5

The latest drivers fixed the overlay.

Haha, no shaming intended! I’m glad the driver didn’t melt your system and seems to have resolved some issues at least. :)

First one, on the prologue

Everyone gets that one. I can only imagine the severity of the issues they fixed in the last few weeks if that one went ignored.

I updated my drivers and no go. Will see if it works when I start playing again, maybe the gog overlay is causing a problem.

The updated drivers seemed to be causing some glitches in wow for me. We’ll see if it persists.

I used Steam to see my FPS, running my GOG copy as a non -steam game still works

The problem happens in other games too-- the Nvidia overlay just pops up then disappears inside any game. It must be a problem with the latest drivers.

Edit: Turning the overlay off and then on again in GFE fixed the problem. So I’m getting around 47fps outdoors, and my GPU is only 70% utilized-- my guess is I’m CPU constrained. Wish I had that zen3 I’ve been trying to buy.

My Street Kid. The character creator was pretty good.

Oh my.
