I dicked around with the character creator, played through the intro then closed the game. My current rig makes it look both shitty and too choppy to comfortably do action gameplay. Shelving it till my 3080 ever gets delivered.

The bugs I have seen so far are occasional floating trees and a floating ‘cola’ can. I’m sure these will get squashed. Other than that, pretty pleased. (this is on PC)

This. Played a little more today and wow, there’s nothing like Night City. It feels real in a totally different way from any other game I ever played. It’s really impressive.

Had a quest trigger bug. Person clearly was missing from a chair with another relevant person staring at it. Simple reload fixed it.

Sometimes the quest convos will take a second or two to fire up, especially if you do anything in the midst of the sequence. And I have had a lot of non-interactive junk items, but nothing major.

As @stusser says, the art direction and world building is what makes this pop for me. Yes the visuals are excellent, but that can shift with your platform and hardware. The thought and care that went into crafting the game world though is what is at the heart of the game in many ways. Just wandering around the city from point A to point B is an adventure and a half.

I now am toting around a small arsenal though. Need to sell or dismantle most of it I think.

Started playing this evening. Fun. This BD thing is cute despite the strobing intro. Combat puzzles me a little. Possibly it’s just my starter weapon, but do torso shots do anything at all in this game? Driving is unpleasant. Also the GPS routes me through closed gates and across private property, which is pretty funny. Take a right onto unnamed road, straight on through the barricade, turn left onto industrial platform, then over the curb onto route 1. Night City seems to have a vast appetite for studded dildos as I’ve found dozens of them so far.

So the bouncers in both my playthroughs have told me there is a catalog of Braindances I can go through at Lizzy’s but damn if I can find that to order from. For science of course. Any idea what I’m missing?
