Gaming reddits without those are worse, because questions are buried under stupid memes
Always go for the third data mine. And feel free to start with the wrong number if it leads you to the sequence you want:
Approx 4.7M for PC based on that split.

That was a good video. Especially regarding the three datamines on the right, I wasn’t sure how I chose which one to go for but he explains it.
Not a complex system at all but hoo boy was it poorly explained in game. Thanks for the additional info. :)
I’ve noticed that the side missions that you stumble upon by proximity all seem to have self-contained stories. Taken as a whole, the amount of writing, dialog, level design, and voice acting that exists outside of the main storyline is kind of amazing. I know that this was CDPR’s trademark with the Witcher, but I think they’ve taken it even further – and they seem to have added some soft level scaling to ensure that you still get good rewards.
Yeah it’s all good stuff. I played a bunch today. I think I’ll do a main quest mission next though. I always enjoy open world games more when I don’t focus on one or the other type of quest too much.
I made a save of my street kid run, at level 4, and started a new game as a corpo to see how the origin stories differ. Well, a lot, though there is a common thread it seems. Not sure how the origins affect things down the road, as I went back to my original, now level 6.
Just finished a story mission that ended in a pretty epic boss fight. Combat isn’t at all bad, if you have some points in it.
I’ve done that but it dorsn’t seem to have any inpact on either cursor or aim… it helped turning off gun sway (or rather changing it to camera) for aim but still too fickly

Maybe adjust mouse DPI or polling?
Having played this way too much since it came out (16 hours, embarassing) and now beaten it, here are some completely spoiler free thoughts as I rushed through it to avoid being spoiled:
-
The campaign is short. I did a fair few sidequests that were nearby and still got through the game that quickly. I really did just scratch the surface on the sidequests though and am looking forward to an extremely casual 100% playthrough. Or as much as I can muster. But I’ll wait till the next patch. I need to return to the real world for a bit!
-
The ending did not leave me feeling satisfied though maybe I got the bad ending? Possibly. I’ve got no idea having not been spoiled.
-
I went reflexes to 18 and Mantis Blades and the game felt trivial on hard. The trick is to not use the leap attack on anyone that isn’t alone, it’s a trap and you can and do take damage while locked in the killing animation. Keep to quick attacks. The few times I died were to random one shots from standing on a grenade or something. Small arms fire even when it hit me did not prove very dangerous. So much self healing in blades.
-
The craziest thing, I thought I was loony for having already beaten it but 13% of players beat me to the achievement. That is a lot of people doing very little but playing Cyberpunk and makes me feel slightly better.
-
It isn’t as good as TW3, but it’s still quite good.
Nice work! And that’s great news that people are finishing the game. I wonder if a lot of people took the same approach to avoid spoilers.
Were there any major ones that would have ruined your experience if you had been spoiled?
You mean, like how Johnny Silverhand is breathtaking at the end?
There’s also the thing about Judy being the character most shown in the marketing material. I wonder why.
Looks like a 3.5GB update just dropped
I don’t think anything would have completely ruined the experience and very early in the story I had two pretty wild theories about what the twists would be and one of them turned out to be the final twist, so pat on the back there but the other one I was just dead wrong about and nothing came of it.
But thats why I don’t like being spoiled, I like to make up whacky theories about how it will end as the story plays out which you can’t do if you already know!

I wonder if this bullet point encapsulates the FPS drop over time some people here have reported:
- Addressed issues related to FPS drop.
What would cause that? Memory leak of some kind? Are there memory leaks involving VRAM?
It’s the 1.04 hotfix. I removed the quest fixes to avoid spoilers.
