Check out this cool ramp I found.

First edition Shadowrun came out in 1989. First edition Cyberpunk came out in 1988. That said both games took their inspiration from novels like Hardwired and Neuromancer.

I believe it is - They used that term a LOT. God I played a lot first and second edition Shadowrun - such a great and silly idea.

If you ever want to feel like Superman, just haul ass on a motorcycle and slam into another car. In real life, the flight is the last thing you would ever see.

Yeah but was it called that in the original source books? I see something about a Solo class.

“Street samurai” was first used in Johnny Mnemonic to refer to Molly Millions.

Nice - and just like that, everything goes full circle :-D

Movie or book, is there a quote because I thought she was referred to as a razorgirl.

Nope. They just wanted to sell to Xbone owners, because there are a lot more of those than Series X/S owners.

Microsoft has a kinda sorta policy of no next gen exclusive first party games for the first year or two, but they’re breaking it pretty much immediately with Flight Simulator. There is absolutely nothing but economics preventing third parties from going next gen only, and in practice MS will do it too.

Short story was first. 1981. I think there are versions available online.

That is more realistic, no? :)

You don’t typically just keep standing until dead when getting pumped full of bullets. I’ll leave the twitching ones unless they pissed me off or were especially nasty bad guys/gals. Then it’s a double tap to the head.

I wonder if her nakedness is tied to your choice of showing it all at character creation?

Personally I thought she was rendered well and realistically. She had nice bounce in my arms…

I thought this was only the stated plan for Microsoft games but I could be wrong.

Right, that was first party titles.

The good news: the One X’s lowest resolution is the PS4 Pro’s highest res (over 1080p). The bad news: it impacts performance and framerate is lower than the PS4 Pro.

DF was also less than impressed with the XBox version. They even saw the renderer hang for over 1 minute.

This game is now shelved for me until either the performance patch drops in January and pushes framerate much closer to a consistent 30fps (one can hope) on One X or I get a Series X. I know CDPR will support their game. So I’m not refunding it. But I most definitely didn’t get a game I want to waste time on for now. :/

But MS selling a Cyberpunk edition of Xbone X probably means they couldn’t do next-gen only.

It has to be something related to the Xbox X architecture, it isn’t the first nor the second game where the resolution is a bit higher than the ps4 pro, but the framerate lower. I guess it’s ‘wider’ so it allow for more rendering but in the end the cpu and memory bandwith limits the framerate?

After viciously killing Dum Dum last night, I decided to escape the Maelstrom base with a stealthy, non-lethal approach but I kept having trouble with bodies being identified and enemies alerted.

I’m pretty sure I had deactivated all cameras and there weren’t any enemies spotting the bodies but it seemed like a super-tight time limit on getting them dumped out of sight before the alert message appeared. And I have no idea how they were being spotted. Anyone else puzzled by this? (That’s the problem knowing the game is buggy… I lose faith in the experience and think anything confusing might be a bug.)

Also, once they’re hidden in a dumpster, you can’t loot them, right? I accidentally clobbered and dumped a baddie in one slick move but then had to reload because I wanted to loot him first!

They drop a baggie in front of the dumpster with their loot.

Oh, well, that’s awfully polite of them!
