This runs surprisingly well on my several year old rig running Windows 7 (i5, 16GB w/GTX 1050Ti) . 2nd lowest graphical setting gives about 20-25 fps in the city, and it still looks pretty good. I’d planned on an upgrade later this month, but then my water heater went “lol no” and pissed all over the balcony. Maybe next month.

In the meantime, I’ll let it simmer for a while and get some of the bugs squashed. I’ll miss you, person who jams traffic by cowering in the middle of the street.

Are you playing on hard? I’m curious because I have 14 body and 10 tech at this point.

Outside of the obvious Body stuff the blind quick hack will help a lot. I think the rare upgrade version starts to spread to nearby enemies and can be further enhanced. Blind, strike, retreat, repeat.

Or just abuse the terrible AI and stand just around a tight corner and get 'em to come hug you.

Yeah, I read some reports of folks taking that route but it sounded like Dum Dum could sometimes reappear. I didn’t trust it completely as a fix so I opted to go back to the earlier save. At least it gave me a chance to rescue Brick the second time through. Plus I didn’t have to destroy two mechs and then loot a standing-but-dead bugged-out Royce. Ultimately, I was glad I redid that mission.

No, I don’t need to torture myself with hit sponges ;-) Can see how that makes a difference. Everyone falls down with 2 max 3 hits. I have 338 Armor and 279 health right now.

Thanks! That did it.

I think if you are playing a melee build the game expects you to be using a Sandevistan. Turns out slowing time by 50% for 17 seconds is really super powerful when you one shot all enemies and run at lightning speed.

Also go deep into Cool, Cold Blooded is an insanely powerful tree for all classes. Bonus side effect that your passive stealth becomes incredibly good and most enemies won’t even detect you even if you don’t bother to crouch unless you just sit loitering in their LoS for 5 seconds. You just kind of dash from one guy to the next and most of the time they don’t even get a chance to raise their weapons. Even in the handful of situations where you can’t clear the zone in 17 seconds you can just duck behind a wall and twiddle your thumbs for a second if you want to be safe about it. The cooldown isn’t long.

Currently mu male character has these extra short hot pants which when riding a motorcycle shows his cheeks off, along with these knee high red boots, not a great look but its a lot better than my other choices currently

What do you mean “not a great look”? Sounds fabulous to me!

The funny thing is, you’d think the crafting spec would give you some consistent looking clothing sets at each rarity tier so you could assemble an ensemble to resemble something normal but NOOOooooo. Camouflage ugg boots and office skirt, here we come.

The sniper rifle has got to be bugged. I’m shooting through through the earth to kill baddies that are below me. I can shoot through a concrete barrier I’m using as cover to kill guys across the street who are walls deep inside a building. It’s literally cheat mode.

Stunning and brave.

Double-tap dodge is always awful. Happily, there are bunch of mods to address this already. I have been using this one:

This mod also removes all the other restrictions on keybinds. It’s quite good!

+1, Choomba. 41 hours in, with zero crashes and only insignificant, occasional glitches. There are certainly missing features and incomplete systems in the current version, but that’s not a surprise in big, ambitious releases.

I am playing it on a decent PC I bought last week (10700k, evga 3070), so I am not seeing all the problems that plague consoles. I feel bad for those folks. They’re missing a good game.

The arm blades are very overpowered if you build out that spec.

“Hey Choomba, those legs go all the way up?”
