I misspoke before when i said i had 90 hours on… it was around 60. I’m about 75 hours in now.

And really, i cannot overstated how good this game is, which stand in stark contrast to some of the reviews about it.

I’m getting to the point where i think I’m wrapping up some of the less major story arcs. I say “less major” because while they are technically “side quests” they are extremely in depth, with very good choice acting and character development.

Overall, there are just a bunch of characters in the game who are very well done, and who i want to help out and see what happens. Not the least of which is my own character, who i really do not know what is going to happen with.

I’ve already encountered the results of assume earlier actions i took, way back from the beginning of the game.

I feel like the glitches, especially on the last gen consoles (which, honestly, this game just should never have been released on) are burying the lede, which is that this is one of the coolest games I’ve ever played.

I do wish they had a more, well, elegant solution to the “overriding main quest that really is heading you towards finality” versus “I want to explore the 75% of the city and quests I didn’t get to do before triggering the end game” thing. It does work, but it’s…not ideal, IMO, thematically at least. Doesn’t make all that much difference game wise though.

Are there any quests or interventions that disappear if you drive/run right by them? Worried about missing SOS ones, or assaults in progress, or the host of what looks to be evolving gameplay.

No.

Panam waited over a week for me to move a box 20 metres over to her car.

Very much how I deal with chores from my wife.

Lolol

The stuff labeled “Gigs” seems to be pretty low-pressure, they’ll keep. For that matter, so will the main quest or side quest stuff, even if they say to meet right now or at a specific time. For the latter, like “meet after dark,” it doesn’t matter which day it is, just the time.

The assaults and on the fly stuff seems randomly generated, so if you ignore one there will be ten others.

This gives some more context regarding what happened with Sony.

So many gamers demanded refunds from distributors this week that they overwhelmed Sony’s customer service representatives and even briefly took down one of its corporate sites.

9 Gig update downloading for PC just now

Hope it’s better than the console version of the patch. Lots of problems being reported with that.

LOL. And I say lol because… what time is it in Poland right now? near 2:00am? in the middle of the weekend?

Poor guys.

Yeah, I’d imagine it’s been all hands to the pump since release. I don’t envy those guys, gotta say…

Yeah, the devs doing the grunt work in Poland have my sympathies. The problems with the game are squarely at the feet of management at various levels, not the actual skilled creators.

I dumped all of my money and points in a sandoval deck, and turns out I can’t do any hacking any more! well fuck! I want my points and money back!

Unless you’re actually highlighting something you want to interact with. So dumb.

You do not. If you’re hacking, buy a better deck as soon as you can!

Weird. 3.5gb for me on Steam

And mine is 1.65 GB. some kind of preload?

Awesome thanks!

BTW is there any penalty from killing every single wanted person you come across as long as it’s not in front of police? I won’t end up denuding the game of all wanted people will I? They’ll respawn at some point?

LOL. I guess GOG needed to make up for the tiny launch day patch to unlock vs Steam, by making this patch 3 times bigger than the one on Steam.
