For me I started to diversify at that point. There’s value in that a stat gives passive bonuses but I wanted to play around with some perks in other trees.

Sooo…in the pen and paper Cyberpunk RED RPG book that came out last month, v1.0 VR “cyberspace” has been fenced off and things are now more ARish in 2045. Weird that by 2077 we see none of it.

All these years I’ve known you, I thought for sure you were a native German! Is that Spanish?

Why do you say hacking is broken?
Also, how do I get better Cyber spell recipes? I can only craft green and blue ones, and the netrunners I’ve found also only have blue and green ones for purchase.

In the intelligence tree there are skills to be able to craft blue, purple, and orange hacks (which requires the one from the previous tier plus some additional crafting materials)

So you don’t find or buy new “recipes”?

I think that the hacks themselves count as the crafting spec. So once you have one, you can craft the higher tiers of it. I definitely bought hacks from the hacking stores (of which there aren’t that many).

Where do you find these “ultimate hacks” I’ve read about? Like where you cause the enemy to suicide or fight each other?

I haven’t gotten any of those after 60 hours and about 2/3 of the main story. Could have missed them somewhere, though.
I would not be in a rush to min/max the hacking and get all the best stuff, though, because it’s insanely powerful without that, already. Not sure what, if anything, those do to make encounters more fun.
You can pick them up at the various Netrunner shops, or (I believe) find them as loot.
If you want to really be powerful as a hacker, make sure you upgrade the quickhacks. It ups the RAM cost, but the increase in damage/added effects is well worth it.

Craft them (in the purple tier).
ok this trick works with purple grenades too, so you can get purple mats out of commons
AHK macro i stole. F1 toggle craft, F2 toggle off.

As in too good, in both mana…errr… ram super fast infinite recovery, damage dealt (once you reach the mid game), safety of use from long distance and through cameras, AI not really programmed to deal with those attacks, and extra xp gained (you win quickhack + stealth + cold blood for every death).
Basically OP in every way. I have to limit myself to a few uses in each encounter.

Yeah-- super annoying. I’ve also lost double-jump and sprint a couple of times. The latter, once when I was running, well strolling, from the cops! Only reloading fixes it. One buggy-ass game.

Hard, i think? The main issue I’ve got is that he can one shot me with various attacks.

I found mine via hacking access points.

I think I just bought mine from a vendor.
It’s crazy how powerful hacking is in this game. When you get the legendary ping that lets you hack through walls, and the legendary deck that spreads hacks to 3 enemies, you basically just chill in the bathroom and clear out entire buildings.
Just get Int to 20, then choose the perk that allows crafting legendary quickhacks. You will get the ultimate hack recipes automatically. These are things like Cyberpsychosis and Suicide. There are no lower tiers of these quickhacks.
For other legendary quickhacks (stuff like Contagion or Short Circuit), you have to craft/ find the lower tiers first. Each tier is an ingredient for the next tier. Legendary Ping, Contagion and Overheat alone make you an unstoppable monster for most fights, so you don’t really need ultimates.
