I completed Clouds takeover mission, Maiko is dead, and now I have the date with Judy.

I wonder, is there going to be later some news of what happened with the Clouds. Because I actually think Maiko was right in that the Tigers wouldn’t let the Clouds in peace and would come again. And thing is, while going around in the city I found again the H8 megabuilding and it was closed off by police, and there was a big blood splatter in the ground. I have the feeling there was a carnage, all because Judy’s ideals.

BTW, is there any quest for the Moxxes? I’m surprised I still haven’t found any.

I left Maiko in charge with Tygers being content just getting their cut of the money, also because I figured starting a war with Tygers would lead to much more disastrous results. But sadly, during the subsequent (wonderful) non-date with Judy she told me that nothing much has improved, Maiko is still an asshole.

I think they might… to a point. The PS4 Pro and One X do have the extra power and memory to make it run OK after patches and optimisation rounds. I’m not sure how much they can salvage on base consoles considering the scope of the game.

But I finally decided it’s not worth paying full price for the game and then waiting for CDPR to fix the bugs and make it playable on last gen. Even though I pre-ordered the game digitally more than 14 days ago, I requested a refund on the MS store today and it was processed within 5 minutes (as recently reported that they unconditionally refund the game).

I’ll buy it again on sale and once I have a next gen system. Pity. I was looking forward to the game.

Almost finished all the gigs. It’s nice to go ham with a legendary shotgun instead of using stealth or pistols. Grenades are useful if not to do damage, to knock people on the ground. I’m going to end up with 300K in the bank.

My current look:

I was actually frustrated that I had to wait as long to kill the unpleasant woman in question as I did, but I was happy it was eventually an option.

Balance wise, I wish damage was lower, globally, on Very Hard. 15-20% less, both to enemies and to the player. Sometimes I’m killed in one hit, and enemies aren’t in any case bullet spongy at all, which is what people feared before release. If that way I die instantly less times, and in exchange I have two fire a pair of bullets more to the enemies, I think that’s a fair trade.

Ya, this is definitely the case.

There’s a section in the game where you do some racing, and they should use that HUD display for the entire game’s driving.

Or rather, they should sell that as a cybernetic mod in-game. It’s quite strange that in the intro they make a big deal about the new chrome affecting your HUD, but then forget about the concept for the rest of the game.

As if crafting wasn’t bad enough already (no clue if consoles are also affected):

Eh, that’s not forgotten about… there are a bunch of cybernetic mods which will affect your HUD. Like ones that show you the ricochet path of bullets, or automatically highlight guys who have detected you, etc.

Wait, they already implemented it, but just for races?

It’d be great even if the minimap would zoom out based on your speed.

Yep. This was mentioned earlier in this thread. Apparently, it takes vast quantities of components to corrupt the save file. But good to know.

Ya, in the races with Claire, you get a shard that gives you something akin to a Forza style line on the road that shows you where to go, and at turns there are holographic gates telling you which way to turn and how sharp it is. But this is only in effect during the races.

This should be incorporated into all driving.

I doubt it’s really implemented, I think the indicators were manually placed for the races. It’s what I would have done.

Ya, I don’t think they have some automated GPS linked system… although, honestly, it wouldn’t likely be hard to construct such a thing on top of the stuff they already have. I suspect they’ll add it in at some point.

CDPR’s latest report reveals that Cyberpunk’s sold 13 million copies, and that figure factors in returns at both retail and digital.

And how many were refunded?
