From someone posting the Jimquisition song, I now have learned Jim Sterling identifies as they and is LGBT/transitioning via HRT/estrogen.

That’s a complete surprise.

Why did this take a 900 MB download? Hah.

I’m at the last fight and apparently my build is useless against it, so… fun?

Heh, i ran into the same basic thing, or so i thought… But then i changed things up a bit and beat him down really bad. I think that my first problem was thinking that he was way tougher than he actually was if you beat on him.

But you can’t really stealth assassinate or cyberhack him to death… Although certain hacks like crime movement or disable cybernetics are super effective against him.

I beat him, but it wasn’t enjoyable.

It’d be nice if the cops cared as much about hit and runs when I’m the victim as they do when I’m the perpetrator.

It’s times like that I’m sort of happy the justice system forgets about you if you sprint a block and a half away. I may have shot a few drivers who hit me. It makes me feel better.

Never mind! First person! Please put the first person back!

Honestly, I think the game should not have had appearance customization. The quality difference between the procgen models and the lovingly handcrafted ones is huge. I spent far too longer than I should have just staring at Judy’s model from different angles, and not because I’m a perv but because of how amazing the detail was, how well it was showing off the raytracing, and all the subtle animations. The same for Dexter DeShawn, or even for some incredibly minor characters who still got the hand-crafted treatment (e.g the receptionist at the clouds).

If they hadn’t allowed arbitrary customization at creation, we could have had amazing models for the player character too, rather than something that looks like a nameless NPC on the street. I only looked at mirrors a couple of times during the game before deciding it was a really bad idea. And in the endgame, I think they meant to be an emotional climax of each of the epilogues to be when the camera pans out into third person, and it’s no longer your story but the character’s. But it just doesn’t have that effect with the lower quality assets.

I wish I could have saved Dex. I loved him. Wouldn’t have minded at all running a ton of busywork for him.

Even though he murdered you to save his fat ass? No tears shed for that fat fuck.

My only regret was that I wasn’t the one to off him.

I missed why the person who offed him did so.

Lawsuit time!

Unplayable for the majority of players? Really? Or just most console players?

FWIW, as I understand it, CDPR’s only nexus with US securities law is having some ADRs, and it’s only very recently that there’s any precedent that that would expose them to liability at all (it’s also not clear they have any US assets which could be garnished). It’s far from clear that a case will be successful, even if it would have been had CDPR been a US company, which seems highly questionable. “You made one of the highest selling games of all time” is not the most promising start to an investor suit.

Yeah, me too, for Dax.

EDIT: Doh, thought you were talking about Johnny. Thus, my original answer: Oh, I don’t disagree with you–as presented in the game, he’s odious. He’s an ineffective activist, a mass-murderer, a terrible conspirator, a bad musician, and a misogynist twit to boot.

That Lizzy Wizzy quest… an interesting concept, and then the quest ends up in what it should have been the middle point. It’s so clear it was cut to have it on time at release, because I can’t believe CDPR wasted the potential of this quest willingly.

I would seriously doubt the suits will have any legs. At best, they will gain some payoffs for the lawyers perhaps.
