They made some changes/updates, but the systems were already solid when the game launched. The only significant gameplay adjustment was adding an alternate optional movement system for Geralt.
Fixing/changing Cyberpunk 2077 is going to take a lot more effort.
Somewhat, yeah. I think it is more noticeable, and more annoying, here because CDP clearly intended the RPG/narrative part to be more important than, say, in your average Far Cry game. Even something like Skyrim doesn’t ram the main quest in your face quite this heavily.
On that note this vid goes through the promises v. actual game delivered

23+ hours in and I’m taking a break from the Main, and I’m solving some fucked up shit with River Ward. These have been great side-quests.

I don’t think @TheWombat is shitting on the game at all. He’s (he, right?) merely lamenting what could have been.
For me, I think this game is a buggy, glorious mess. I’m having a blast, but I get so pissed at the same time. And I’m not talking graphics or frame rates. I’m talking about phone calls interrupting conversations, or about Johnny commenting on an area we visited 15 hours ago but since we went close to that location, he comments again. And again. Or how subtitles are sometimes necessary to understand a quest.
I love this game, seriously. I just think it needed some more time in the oven, and that the game needs to explain itself better to the player.

I believe you still get multiple homes… They show up on the map as you get access to them. I’m not really sure what the point of them is, as i never find a need to use the home… But they do show up. Maybe stash access? I always used the car for my stash though.
That rooftop apartment isn’t “secret” I don’t think… that looks like your apartment from the Rogue/V ending.
You get access to Judy and Panam’s places, if you do their quests the right way. You don’t get to buy or furnish a new place.

My stash is broken anywhere outside of my apartment. I can’t put anything into it.

Really?
Over noticed that the scorpion bike seems to have a stash, but didn’t really… But all the actual cars functioned fine as a stash for me. (Although they didn’t seem to be linked to the apartment stash… They were all linked to each other though)

ah, I’m using the scorpion bike pretty much exclusively. I guess that’s it.

Yeah, the bikes don’t have stashes.
However, you can always just call a car wherever you are and use it as a stash, then drive away on the bike.
Uh, what? I have like 100 hours in the game. I’ve played through it twice now. I love playing it. I also think it has huge, huge issues. But mostly, I’m offering critique of the game, not criticism. There is a difference, and if you can’t discern that, then, well, mute me or whatever. But seriously, take a chill pill.

More than a few times I managed to trigger a stash on my bikes, but never when I wanted to.

For me the panniers seem to be stashes. Sometimes I activate them when trying to ride.
The only thing I use the stashes for is storing Iconic weapons that I’m not going to use. Once you upgrade (if you can) your stuff to Legendary, and have your handful of weapons you will use pimped out, there’s no need to keep anything at all except Iconics for your wall I guess. Storage in general is a nice idea but somewhat less than essential.

On that subject, the inventory sure could use a lock mode, as well as ‘sell or dismantle everything else’ button.

Well he’s entertaining.
The picture! look at the picture! You can’t even do that.

Holy shit, just got my ass whupped multiple times by Oda. Jesus.
…and then the game crashed shortly thereafter but I’d saved immediately after the boss battle.
He is no joke. He’s the only fight I lowered the difficulty on (from Hard) on my second play through. Nasty bugger.
