A very good focus to have. At this point it’s my main question. What does it take to get Sony to list your game again? We shall see.

Reasonable stability and performance on base PS4 is the criteria, I imagine.

Sure, but I didn’t see that on their list of bug fixes.

They need to integrate turn signals in the hud or direction arrows on the roads, or dynamic street signs in the environment ala Mafia 3 so you don’t have to look at the dumb minimap at all.

How does that explain Life of Black Tiger and Gilson B Pontes’s games on PS4?

Gilson B Pontes never offered full no-questions-asked refunds without arranging beforehand with Sony, so there’s that.

Were those other two even sold on disc?

I had been wondering why my connection was so shitty all day. Power cycled my router and modem, ran a speed test which came back fine, but then my download speeds kept fluctuating. Finally gave up and was greeted a little while later with “Cyberpunk 2077 has been updated”

Love you GOG Galaxy but I either didn’t get a notification or I missed it.

Sooooo. . . .good time to buy or wait longer? And if now is a good time to buy, is the game worth the $50-ish I see it going for these days?

It was down to $30 a week ago I think.

Patched, walked around for 5 minutes, crashed (first time ever in over 20 hours).

High five!

It was $26

Should be well below fifty these days.

I got my money’s worth at list price, but realistically it wasn’t worth full price in terms off what a AAA game should be for the money. At thirty clams or so though it definitely is a good buy IMO.

To me, a good time to buy would be in 3-6 months when more gameplay system updates and performance improvements are available, maybe the first DLC. There’s bound to be more offers on the game price. The day after a gigantic patch is bound to turn up more issues created by the patch itself.

I bought it at launch, got refunded. I’ll get back to it either this summer or autumn, when we are closer to their usual “game of the year” edition.

If you have waited this long, I’d say it’s better to wait a bit longer. For patches and deeper discounts.

The latest Call of Duty patch is 133 GB.

I looked at these patch notes and saw all the fixes and though, “Maybe it’s time to play this game!” I’ll still probably wait until next year, though.

The patch is nice, but the fact that it still didn’t implement the minimap zoom out is getting a bit embarassing.

Yes it is.

I’m sure they consider it a specific design decision- like, if they made the minimap more functional, people would spend their time looking at that instead of their lovingly built city.

Really, they should overlay directions right on your HUD.
