I guess it’s just for 1080p High details @30 fps? Not for 4k, not for Ultra, and not for 60 fps (and not for RTX effects, that’s obvious).

Ouch at that Minimum CPU requirement. If they mean it, I guess I’m out. I’ll have to get it on console.

The required is an eight year old CPU (the recommended 4790 is six years old). Not surprising for a “next gen” game like this.

I mean, it’s an 8 year old CPU, I think it’s fair for a modern graphical power house open world game - impressive even - but I also have doubts it’s going to prevent you from playing that much. What is your video card?

Also, getting it on console would be completely feasible in any event.

The bright spot is that most of the time when games list a CPU like that, they don’t mean it. It runs just fine on my CPU. But recently, Microsoft Flight Simulator really meant it. They really meant it!

A GTX1060 came out in July of 2016.

What resolution are they playing at 720p?

I honestly think it’s going to be fine, even if you end up playing on Medium and turn shadows down quite a lot. What resolution do you game at?

Yeah, I feel like they up the CPU to give themselves some cushion but that seems to be going away now. They’re actually leveraging that CPU. The next gen of consoles no longer running on spruced up graphing calculators probably has something to do with it. :)
