Seriously considering using up my last two Rosaria rebirths to spec into faith and back for the Midir fight so I can use Great Lightning Spear.
That was embarrassingly easy! I mean, what? Maybe I’m just on my game a bit more today, or maybe you rock? :) Or, as the meme goes, why not both?
I actually got invaded while I was en route to the boss door, but I was too busy trying to avoid chasers that I didn’t see whether it was the NPC again. Anyway, it was not an issue.
Did I miss this, or is it DLC? A respec sounds intriguing.

Hoooooly shit. Holy fuckin shit. Thank you “Shadow of Pain xD” wherever you are. We did it. What an absolutely incredible fight. We were both on our last legs. I rushed in to deliver the killing blow as he was charging up for his big dark blast. As they say in Twitter, “literally shaking rn”.
The area after Champion Gundyr is a strangely sad place.
No other game has ever done this to me, that I can recall. It’s quite remarkable.
I was going pretty well until I got to the two giant snake axe dudes! :o
Actually, before that I met an old friend, and after 2 minutes of sparring I finally got a hit in and did… uh… 15 damage? Let’s just say I legged it after that.
I reached the second scaly boi, and that is certainly a challenging fight… on a ledge! Also, fuck those rolling stone lizards. For some reason, despite being made of stone and shaped like an avocado, they seem to outmaneuver me every time. Time for a break, I think.

That is a very different area. You have to fight your way in but once in it feels like you shouldn’t be there. Make sure you look around and get all the available items.
I need to hook up with you guys some night. You seem to be playing a few hours atfer I usually get off but I would love to play a little later and do the co-op thing.
