It is just after 11pm here in central California. This is about as late as I do the internet thing. But a little earlier some day would be perfect.
Havel appeared at the top of the steps at Dragonkin, I started fighting him but had difficulty landing a hit, and when I did get a solid hit I scored 15 damage and I don’t think his health bar actually changed appreciably. I decided that it might be a good idea to bail and try him again later with a different technique and weapon.
Sure, I mean tomorrow is Sunday and I can start in the morning, so about 5-6 hours earlier.

That is a version of Havel that those bell ringing witch things summon, he is an option along with the dragon warriors. Once you reach the bonfire where the NK boss is, Havel is down the stairs, to the right and up the ladder. Watch out for the rock thing.
Once Havel is dead, his armor is available back in Farrons Keep where you fought a Demon.

So how many hours are you different from me? So 10am your time would be what, 6pm my time? I used to play internet golf with a guy on Aussie time but I have forgotten the time difference.
Incidentally, given that I’m about to trigger the end game (I presume), I still have not got the faintest idea where the DLC areas are or how to trigger them. Can you give me a vague hint on where I might be looking, or who to speak to who might drop a hint?
We are 9 hours 30 minutes ahead of UTC. Right now it’s 3.45pm on Saturday afternoon. What time is it there / what timezone are you in?

Pacific Time Zone… 11:16pm
So you’re 16 hours 30 minutes behind me! That’s almost last year.

The first DLC is accessed from that guy in the first Cathedral area, the guy kneeling. just agree to take the parchment, or whatever he calls it from him.
The second DLC is accessed two ways. One, when you defeat the final boss in the first DLC, the second is when you beat the Lothric Twins and return to Firelink you will be told to advance to a certain point. Once there you will see two bonfires, one to rest at and one to send you to the Dreg Heep. The second DLC is the Dreg Heep.

Yea, Aussie golf tournies are always a day ahead of me. I watch Aussie golf at night and it is the next day there.
Well I beat the Lothric twins earlier, went back to Firelink, but nothing special happened.

Did you put their soul on the chair? That should trigger a change.
Ah, I did not. I thought that might trigger some kind of ending sequence. I thought I’d finish Archdragon Peak first.

The game is good about letting you finish what you want. Even if you put the Lothric Twins souls in place there is still the option of doing anything you want. Talk to the firekeeper, she will try to talk you into wrapping things up but you still have free will.
Ok thanks, I’d better get on with doing it then! First task, scaly boi…

@krayzkrok I’m also Pacific time zone, actually!
Also, welp:
Again with the literally shakin. What a long, strange trip it’s been.
I reached the end of Archdragon, found Havel but haven’t taken him on yet, and found a giant bell which judging from all the messages triggers a boss fight. I’d better get these 70k souls back first and then see what I am facing now. It’s certainly been a challenging area, this one!
Oh my god, terrible news!
I finally killed a human invader! My unbroken run of complete ownage (as in, on the receiving end) has come to an end. I’m not sure yet how to deal with this news.
I forgot, as usual, to swap my greatsword out for my longsword, but luckily they were not god-tier, plus as a caster it only took four direct hits and they were dead. They got a parry off once… uh oh… but for some reason it didn’t follow through.
The only suitable gesture I had ready to go was “bow”. I hope that didn’t seem condescending!
Ok, I completed Archdragon except for the boss. Havel was a fun fight! I went back to Firelink and placed the final cinder, opened up the last area, so I can take it on at any point. First though, there’s the DLC to check out. Oh, and the Nameless King boss. Gulp.
I had a quick crack at it. I was pecking away at the dragon/bird’s foot, then the main dude came into range and got a hefty whack which seemed to do quite a bit of damage. Either that or I lost track of how much damage I was doing to the foot. The main issue is that airborne fire attack, which appears to deliver about 950 damage!! I have yet to avoid being hit by it. I guess a few more attempts should help. Cool arena though!
Still no indication after all that at Firelink on where the second DLC is. Talked to everyone, they’re all remaining tight-lipped about it. I’ll go check the first one out though, maybe I have to trigger that first.
