The next HoI3 expansion, For the Motherland, is scheduled for Q2 2011. Paradox also announced that a patch for Semper Fi (the last expansion) will happen around that general time frame.

Well, I’ve already bought it like 9 months ago, I might as well get around to playing it.
Aaaand playing HOI3 without military control is kind of boring. I guess I don’t have the patience for that kind of micro.

Somewhat on topic, I’ve never played a HoI game. But I own the HoI Anthology (1 & 2 + Doomsday/Armageddon), HoI3, and Arsenal of Democracy.
Hell I might as well admit that I also own EU3 complete and haven’t played it.
Which game is the most approachable at this point?
From Lum’s post I get the idea that AoD is what I should probably hop in and play.
