Behaviour Digital has already nabbed Michael Myers and Leatherface to beef up its group of proprietary knockoff baddies like Generic Killer Farmer and Demonic Scary Old Lady. By adding Freddy Krueger, Dead by Daylight seems to going for a pure quantity pitch.

I’ve been watching some Freddy streams. He’s pretty scary to play against compared to some of the other killers.

Freddy is invisible most of the time. Children sing when he’s nearby. He can then draw people into the dream world. Dreaming players can see him, but Freddy can now see them through walls. There’s no getting away unless he’s distracted.

Other survivors can wake up the dreamers, but they have to find one quickly & put them in danger.
