November 13th Winter will be upon us before we know it, and we don’t want to be here when it arrives. The town doesn’t seem to have been looted much - they must have been hit hard. We’ll have to set up a camp here, then hunker down and see what we can find. We’ll need to move quickly, and not just because of the weather. The dead seem to have caught wind of our presence, and we see more and more each day. If we lose people or waste supplies fighting those freaks off, then this whole raid will be for nothing. Our primary target for the search is fuel, but personally I’m hoping medical supplies are abundant. If I don’t get this bite treated soon, someone’s going to notice. Already I’ve got a light fever that won’t go away, and once I start to sweat I just can’t stop. All I need is some antibiotics or something, I just know it. There’s no way I’m going out like those other fools. I won’t let it happen.

I will be PM’ing everyone their 4 character cards (of which you will pick two) as well as your secret objective (which you can never reveal unless you complete it) shortly. Go ahead and post your two choices in this thread, once everyone has done that I will post an image summary of our starting survivors!
Actually, I’d say that’s the easiest objective in the game! You’re doing something you’d be doing anyway, and it doesn’t divert resources you need elsewhere. Also, many of the characters have powers that directly help accomplish the objective.
Yeah I agree I think this objective is relatively straightforward. It encourages you to do what you need to do anyway in searching out locations. I actually thought Scott was talking about the secret objective he received but i guess that would be a little too obvious table talk.
Gedd brought up a potential pitfall with my method of showing you your objective cards. I didn’t realize the links would also allow you to see the other objective cards in my photo stream if you wanted to. If anyone has seen someone else’s objective let me know and i’ll reshuffle and send out a text version. If you’ve all managed to avoid seeing another player’s let me know and i’ll delete them from the stream and send you a PM of the card text.
I was just a little surprised to see the hardcore variant of that objective, since it’s our first run through and whatnot, the other side of the card is something like add 2 zombies per location, and deplete two search decks.

I realize the photo stream thing is kind of dorked right now but from now on any links i send in PM should only be to that image alone. You’ll all have to trust each other on scouts honor that you won’t go digging through the previous links for clues on secret objectives.
