I imagine the universe’s interest in this NBC show is essentially zero, but I checked out the Hulu early peek at the series premiere, and not shocking, it’s terrible. Probably won’t be around very long.
What I thought most interesting about it is how it seemed to feel low-rent and terrible in a lot of the same ways that Revolution, The Event, and some other NBC hour-long shows are/were low-rent and terrible.
Has NBC found some secret formula for making fairly stupid focus-grouped hour-long shows, and if so, why do they stick with it?
