Are you on the PS4? Would love to try a raid one of these days but I just play w/ a single friend who’s also not in any sort of clan.

I will buy whatever they make next, but they need to make it!
Sorry dude, I’m playing on Xbox.
I’m your huckleberry. I’m over Destiny for the most part, but I’m happy to help out if needed.
Yeah. I think total lack of knowing the fate of Destiny has led to a total lack of interest from me. Destiny needs a strong marketing narrative through line to keep me on board, and they seem unable to deliver that. Here’s hoping The Division pans out. :)
I’m Pyperkub on the Xbox as well. First toon is at 37 (jumped from 33 to 37 last night, when I discovered how to claim my completed bounty rewards - d’oh! A manual would have been nice…), though my light is only around 170 currently. Would love to do some of the strikes or Raids
Oh cool, I’ll add you but I don’t have a real clan that I play with, nor do I know five other folks who play Destiny much anymore. But I am kind of getting back into it, so I’d be cool with playing if you should catch me online. Also if it helps, I’ve joined a group on www.the100.io to try to find some folks interested in raiding. I’ve had good luck with those groups before, you can search by general age of players (since I’m way too old to be playing video games) and general attitude (casual, because I get tired of being yelled at by people with better skills, i.e. everyone) and folks in your time zone, just to make grouping that much easier.

I’m already frustrated with Destiny and I just start playing. I lost connection in the middle of a quest and it took me all the way to the beginning of 2 previous checkpoints. So I lost a lot of time and have to replay the battles all over again.

After playing for over a year and a half … the frustrations don’t get any better.
Quit while you are not ahead!
I think I’ve only had one drop in 40+ hours. From my perspective drops aren’t an issue.
Only one drop in 40 hours??? Hope that was some sweet loot!
Marty O’Donnell talks about when he was fired from Bungie.
"[T]here were things that were being re-jiggered, and my frustration with some of the business and creative decisions started to mean that I was on this side of the divide and everybody else was on this side,” he said of the differences between himself and other staffers. “And, as much as we tried to bridge it, it just didn’t seem like it was going to get bridged.”
Despite the disagreements, O’Donnell was caught off-guard the day he was fired from the company without cause.
“The 'why’ question is actually still a question for me. I don’t know why,” O’Donnell said. “I was surprised.”
“I really was hoping it could be mended,” he said of the relationship. “Now, it’s quite possible that it couldn’t be mended, and I was just…a thorn in the side of finishing Destiny. Maybe I just wasn’t as good of a leader and helper at that point, because we were on such different sides. So, I’m not saying it wasn’t the right thing for us to part ways; it probably was. I just don’t think it was done in the best way.”

This game is dead. They screwed up too much… it was good while it lastest.
- no in-game matching system for MP
- the PoE becomes obsolete after TKK is released
- rejigging the weapon / advancement scheme
- low drop rate
- online elitism (“I won’t team up with you if you don’t have a G-horn”)
absurd…
Weird, the forum says there were a couple new posts to this thread, but I can’t see anything. Maybe someone tried posting without a Gjallarhorn.
The biggest thing they screwed up was obsoleting the old content and then taking forever to make more content. I’d love to be playing Destiny but there’s nothing left to do.
There’s supposed to be a PvE update coming next month but I’m not hopeful. The speculation is a Taken wing of PoE, which is probably the simplest thing they could build and also the least interesting.
My biggest problem was the repetitive content. Playing the same missions, with the same dialogue over and over and over. You’d think that with the budget they have, they could crack the but of procedurally generating missions.
Yeah, that’s my issue too. There just isn’t enough Destiny and they have been doing a poor job keeping the older content relavent.
Destiny’s Creative Lead CJ Cowan has resigned from Bungie.
He had worked at Bungie since 2009.
Signing a deal with the devil does not seem to have gone well for the Bungie creatives.
