Yeah, that chest is terrific in crucible, I definitely prefer Obsidian Mind for PvE though.
Blind Watch is a garbage map. And why are the Iron Bounty banners the same every day? And weren’t there supposed to be some new maps? The last time I played any PvP at all was back before Dark Below, and here I am playing the exact same map rotation as before.

Yeah, they were supposed to add in the maps like Asylum and the mercury map into rotation for the LAST iron banner, but then didn’t… and then didn’t in this one either, apparently.
What sucks is that we got two maps with the DLC, but if you want to play them, then you need to go into a special playlist where you ONLY play them… instead of just including them in the regular playlist, with all the maps.
Honestly, with DLC, they need to just make the PVP maps available for everyone… because wtf. It keeps folks’ interest longer. It’s not like anyone bought the DLC only for the crucible maps… especially since we can’t even realy play them. It’s not like making them available for everyone would have reduced sales of the DLC.
Glad to see the two biggest questions for Bungie apply to PvP just as much as PvE.

Destiny seriusly need time sinks that are attractive to players.
Theres this negative feedback where you have to play a lot of grind to buy heavy ammo, that later is lost because theres a bug in the game with heavy ammo lost on dead. Thats not appealing. Players want some time of time investiment that generate a lasting reward, even if is minimal or cosmetic. But grinding for heavy ammo is not

This story is actually making mainstream news. Some kid got duped into letting someone else take over his console to help him glitch a character up to max level. The other guy took over the kid’s PS4 through SharePlay and immediately deleted his characters. The kid is audibly distraught. This story hit a bunch of sites, then was highlighted by Bungie themselves as a cautionary tale.
The guy that deleted the kid’s deleted account, (“KirmitTHEfrog” shown in the original video) was convalescing in the hospital. The family has no idea who really screwed that kid over because a bunch of people had access to the Kirmit account.
Wow, hadn’t heard the second part about “Kirmit” not being in control of his own account. What a weird twist.

It’s actually a pretty easy way for that kid to learn a valuable lesson, that results in no real harm done.
It’s a valuable lesson for everyone really. Your PSN/Xbox Live, Steam account is valuable and should be safeguarded like any other account.

I really want the Hawkmoon so I’ll do it. But since I don’t have that yet it means I won’t get it as I just received my third HoPF in the last month. Went to being very rare to pretty common for me.

No more heavy ammo from killing folks in crucible. I’m ok with this.
Shooting through walls with Armor Piercing nerfed bigtime. LDR no longer a hero.
Icebreaker now spawns with ammo on death.
Shame about the LDR, I had two different AP sniper rifles and they were a lot of fun. It did seem a little overpowered though. What I really wish they’d do is let them penetrate Phalanx shields though, even with dramatically reduced damage. 90% sure they’d break something else if they tried to implement that though. It’s really just comical how they can’t fix anything without tripping over something else, even if it’s a minor thing.

Shotguns are crazy town in pve now.
Fellwinters lie basically one shots everything. Yellow knights? Splat! Wizards with full shields? Splat!
Three little words is pretty tough too now.
And of course that was the only Iron Banner item I didn’t buy.
Pity I broke all mine down for Energies. Ah well, I suspect I still wouldn’t like the super short range.
