No, it's the sequel to Ex Machina.
I feel pretty much the same way about this. It's such an ugly game, which is weird since every other game I've played by Pearl Games looks great! And the theme falls so ridiculously flat. Just an inch more effort could have gone a long way here. But Deus is impressively easy to learn and teach, and it's so much fun I think it counts as a guilty pleasure I can't put down.
