I remember hearing Warren Spector say somewhere that his games will never be the most beautiful games (madly paraphrasing) because he will always focus on the content as a priority.

Maybe she’s the Paul Denton analogue for the sequel. That was definitely Tom Hall as the male voiceover, it sounded like the Walton Simons voice.
Did anyone ever go for the funny hair colour JC Dentons in DX? I always played him with the dark hair, the way he looks in the PS2 CGI intro/extros. He just looked stupid with bleached hair. I think they should have just hardcoded the character for this one too.
It’s not just any game. It’s Deus Ex 2, the sequel to teh best. game. evar. I almost never follow the preview footage of games, but DX was special, and I want more.
Just one more sign of how these forums have changed in the last three months.
I don’t need any indication of the game itself, I already know what it’s going to be. Deus Ex, but better. What’s not to be excited about?

Seeing this trailer and recently replaying some Unreal 2003 and Raven Shield, its a great engine. I really think the Unreal Warfare engine will be used MORE than either Doom3 or Half Life 2’s. By the time the next Irrational Tribes game comes out, it’ll still hold up i think.

BTW, I guess we don’t play the JC dude in DX2 this time around, some anime type chick (like SC Ghost too and that Metroid girl)? Looks cool! Chicago and Seattle rock in the preview trailer! A hint of Shadowrun!!! hmm… it should rock. Tom should rereview Deus Ex with a modern machine. I think he wouldn’t be so hard on it now… I think…

Honestly, what excites you about it? Did it give you any idea of how the game is going to be played, or enrich the dynamic of the action in any way?
Time will tell I guess, but I’ve seen one of these kinds of things tacked onto the front of every PS2 game for the last 5 years…
