Care to give it a try, would be interesting to see what enforcement measures that is.

I remember a old app on the AMiGA called Directory Opus, v4.0 supposedly formatted your hard-drive if it detected that you used an invalid/hacked key. A bit like the uninstaller for Pools of Radiance Myth Dragoor.

Check the weight of the product first. Game.co.uk cancelled my SWTOR Collectors due to weight restrictions outside the UK.

Good point regarding the ultimate special monster edition (or whatever it’s called) but I’m just getting the standard “limited edition”, so no weight trouble.

I’ve had two other publishers (well, three, but two of them share a parent company, so ultimately, just two) detail the same stipulation over the last two years… It’s a 360-specific measure, I believe.

Yeah, on their support page it lists the times you can use the code based on your region, and being in the US I could use my code and play Tuesday after all.

However, when I got under my games like it says to, I still don’t have a key. I’m HOPING that’s just because they haven’t generated/sent one to me just yet. I’ll wait a bit before I really start to panic. ;)

They emailed me my code, it does not appear in capsule. Apparently it won’t work (even for preload) until the release date.

It is a steam game, you have to put that code in Steam.

Well that totally sucks. You’d think that if I started the download before work that morning I’d be okay to play after dinner, but if the servers are slammed (which they will be) I might be shut out on day one. Boo!

BleedTheFreek posted a link to greeman’s support page regarding that very issue. Then I quoted what the page said about it for good measure. I mean, it’s like two posts up, man.
