Hopefully, anyways.

Any word on when review embargos or NDAs are up? I see that PC Gamer gave it a score.

Metacritic has a few reviews indexed for the consoles, but they’re just short blurbs from print mags. They demononstrate the dichotomy of lukewarm politeness and preposterous ecstasy that’s typical for highly-anticipated sequels.

My GMG code is all redeemed and my Steam copy of Deus Ex 3 is preloaded. Looking forward to playing on Wednesday.

Aw damn, I just realized I’m headed to Maryland this Wednesday, so I won’t be able to play until the weekend. But I’m sure I’ll be perusing this thread for impressions constantly, just to torture myself.

Monday morning, I think it’s 9am Pacific.

I hope that’s accurate, I actually read it was Tuesday.

Oh no, the deus ex website and forums are all down :(

This is unlocking just in time for a bank holiday weekend.

Take note, Timegate.

It’s now midnight PST, 3AM EST. Just like most games on Steam anymore.

After watching this trailer I almost feel guilty buying the game for only $34. Assuming of course that the actual experience is just as rewarding as the trailer makes it out to be. 33 Hours remaining till the game unlocks!

Console gamers can get a $10 credit from Amazon now when pre-ordering DX3 (or Target if you swing that way). Can’t wait. I’m sticking with my 360 pre-order and not going to chance the PC version. Hopefully for the Christmas sale of 2012 on Steam I’ll get the PC version for $9 (and hopefully it’ll be worth having forever).

You do know the developer even said the PC version is the one to go with right?

“We are obviously a little biased, but for us here at Nixxes, the PC version really is the version you should play,” Nixxes President Jurjen Katsman stated. “…The extra crispness of the enhanced resolution, effects, and frame-rate, really give you superior visuals. And the speed and accuracy that you get from playing with mouse and keyboard compared with a gamepad, at least for me personally, makes it a pretty easy choice.”

Sure, but the demo didn’t give me the warm and fuzzies that my PC would keep up. So, even though it was a beta I won’t be taking that risk.

True, I guess I never considered that.

Nixxes did the PC port, of course they are going to push the only version they worked on.

So I have the game preloaded on Steam and I watched Blade Runner tonight to get in the mood. Now all we need is a review from Tom.

I’m ready for tomorrow night at midnight! ;-)

Uh-oh… what specs and resolution are we talking about?

I am excited about this game. Just putting that out there.

Ironic - planning on calling in sick the day this drops (tomorrow) and instead calling in sick TODAY because my 8 year old daughter is ACTUALLY sick! sigh
